Love, first of all, ouch, but you're right, I might've become a bit too comfortable on that sofa. It's practically got my imprint now, like a lazy little cave I've carved out. And listen, I do wait on you hand and foot… emotionally, at least. Spiritually. I pass you things, sometimes. That counts, right? But you're right, the sun's out, I've got my legs so pale they could blind small animals, and I think it's time we gave your four walls a break. Let's go outside, let's touch some grass. Either that, or you've been spending far too much time sitting on your arse when you should be waiting on me hand and foot. On a serious note, perhaps you should consider getting a new bed. My sofa is ancient and if that's more comfortable than your bed, there might be a serious issue. Now tell me, are we hiding away in my house for the foreseeable or can we actually go outside once in a while? The sun is shining and I think it might be nice to actually get to enjoy it together.

Ah, that's a shame, would've been a fascinating chat, I imagine. But yeah, fair enough… by all accounts that shoot sounded like a proper slog. Probably not the warmest memory in the Cruise archive and that guy has done lots of things. If the chance ever does come up, I hope someone puts a camera on it. I'd watch the hell out of that convo. Yeah, I think you'd love it, twisted in all the right ways. And no, sadly never got to speak to Bale. Tragic, really. Would’ve loved to see how he got into the mind of Bateman without losing it completely. Though, knowing him, he probably went method and lived as a Wall Street psycho for a month or two. Imagine that coffee run. If I ever do get to chat with him, I'll send you the transcript. 

you know, i really wish i had the chance to talk to him and pick his mind a bit but neither of our teams ever reached out. though i know interview with the vampire was a miserable shoot for both him and brad so maybe it's best not to pick at it. there's an american psycho musical? sounds like something right up my alley. guessing you never got to speak to him though?

You're right to think every fan of the show out there tried the fish custard at least once, maybe every actor alive to play the Doctor should too, and the new ones to come, as a rite of passage. It doesn't exactly turn into a gourmet meal you're craving for every dinner. If your son gets hooked on it, I'll take full responsibility. It's not a meal that's hard to cook, it would save a lot of headaches trying to think of something to make for dinner.

Coconut cake and custard sounds delicious too though. I imagine you might've had a bit of an upset tummy if you had eaten that many fish sticks with custard, even if it is nice. I keep telling him, he has to try it one day, we have to be inaugurated into the official fanclub. But if he likes it and starts asking for it at dinner... I'm blaming you.

Still alive, currently filming House of the Dragon, but I'm still in London, though I feel like I live out of a suitcase most days. You know how it is, long days, and very questionable catering. But I can't complain. It's the good kind of madness. Are you working on something at the moment, or taking a bit of space to breathe between projects?

I'm deep in the House of the Dragon trenches again. Japan, of course you fell in love, I mean, how could you not? The food, the toilets that sing to you… impossible not to. Once I escape the clutches of Westeros and shake the dragon dust out of my boots, Japan's climbing high on the list. If you've got a hidden gem or two, some secret ramen spot or a tiny record shop you stumbled into by accident, send it my way. I'll go full tourist with zero shame.

Oh, what set is keeping you locked up? I was just in Japan for work and I extended it to have a little time to play and I just feel in love. There is so much going on there, you have to check it out.

Honestly, respect. You're out here parenting and planning to vibe when the schedule allows? You deserve a cocktail and a medal. Or a cocktail in the shape of a medal. I'll work on that. 'Course! God knows when or if I'll get some downtime this summer but I'm manifesting. Got grand visions: sunshine, loud shirts, possibly inappropriate dancing, the whole thing. Might even learn to make a half-decent margarita and not set the kitchen on fire this time. High hopes. But if a party's going down and I hear you've left the baby at home and turned up? You know I'm saving you a drink and a spot by the speakers.

I think I'm going to be doing a bit of both. If a party seems my vibe and it's on one of the weekends I don't have the baby then I'll be going, otherwise home it is. But at least I have a pool so I can chill there as well. You on the other hand sounds like you're prepared for the summer of your life!

That movie-we-shall-not-name could've been worse. Could've had me break into a spontaneous dance number mid-lab coat scene or something. If your Latina optimism is strong enough to see the silver lining in that cinematic fever dream, then I salute you. Ahhh there she is, emerging from the Andor promo trenches! I knew you'd survive, but I also half-expected you to just float off into hyperspace and ghost us all, so this is a pleasant surprise. As for me? Currently neck-deep in filming House of the Dragon again… lots of wigs, lots of standing ominously on cliffs while the wind does 90% of the acting. Classic Daemon behaviour. Honestly, I think the man would be more productive if someone just gave him a fidget spinner and a therapist.

Honestly, I think you're spot on. If I'd watched it when it first dropped, I'd have been pacing the living room between seasons. Absolute agony. The binge was a blessing in disguise; no waiting, no spoilers. Hate those. You're all so filthy good in it. "Too pathetic for Bond" my arse. River's got more depth in a single brooding glance than most action heroes manage in an entire franchise. You nailed that twitchy, bottled-up intensity without ever tipping it into melodrama.

Probably a good thing ye got intae it so late - imagine waiting all that time for each season? Pure torture, as a telly watcher. Oh aye, hit the jackpot with castmates, they're both so fucking talented, and the kindest and most fascinating people. Oh ye know, all those years of wanting to be Bond, but being too pathetic for it - channelled it all into River.

Those are top tier choices. Parties would never be dull again with you around. Juggling flaming torches sounds equal parts impressive and like a fast-track to losing your eyebrows (some people would say I know a thing or two about that), but I respect the commitment to showmanship. And balloon animals is a whole level of whimsy I hadn't even considered. You'd be unstoppable at weddings, kids' parties, awkward office functions, the works. You ever actually tried either, or are these still on the dream shelf? ( @xdobrevx )

i love random questions! there are two that popped into my head right away, so you're going to get both of them. the first one is juggling. the only purpose for this skill is that it would a good time for parties if they become dull. juggling knives? fire torches? yes, please. and the other is making balloon animals. to me that would be kind of hard but worth it if you take up kids birthday parties on your off days.

Oh mate, I feel seen. Honestly, I thought I was doing them a favour playing along, but somehow I ended up as the underpaid kitchen staff in their Michelin-star fever dream. And yeah, the spoon thing! “Try this!” they say. Absolute madness. I swear, they gaslight you so hard you almost believe you tasted something. It's gutting when they start growing out of it though, isn't it? How old's your middle one now? Still got a bit of whimsy left in the tank? Thank you for saying that. You're right, of course. If my parenting potential hinges on surviving a toddler-run bistro with dignity intact, then maybe the bar's been set a touch high! And yeah, maybe letting go of the play kitchen is the move, unless you're secretly craving more invisible meals and being bossed around by people who can't tie their own shoes.

Holy hell, that sounds familiar. The risotto especially. You've really not lived life until you've had empty spoon after empty spoon shoved at your face to "taste this!" whatever apparently delicious invisible meal they've made up. So, no, you're absolutely not alone with that one. My eldest has mostly outgrown make believe (breaking my heart, I made a movie about it) but the middle child is mostly still into the pretend. Maybe we should break the cycle and not keep the play kitchen for the youngest. You absolutely have what it takes, though, don't give up from one outing to a fake restaurant. There are so many more measures of a potential parent's worth!

Honestly, I don't know whether to send flowers or earplugs. Want me to swing by with coffee when the little ones arrive, or maybe just a bottle of wine and a long straw? You just have to say the word. Me? I’m in the middle of bringing you more HOTD content, well, not me personally, I'm not the mastermind behind it all, but you know what I mean. Been busy filming, and when I'm not on set, I'm spending time with my lady. Thinking about sneaking off on a little vacation soon. Look at us, living on totally different wavelengths.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. That gave me a proper chuckle. I mean, what a reaction! A full-on YES like she'd just won the ruddy Euromillions, and all 'cause my barnet'w made a comeback? I kind of love it. Yeah, I did shave it, bit of a drastic number for a role. Oddly liberating though! Though you sure already knew this. But people did look at me like I'd kicked a puppy or something. Honestly, I didn't know my follicles were bringing people joy. I should start charging a serotonin fee. But to answer your question, nah, it is not! Were people as happy when you let your hair grow out? We've both got faces people apparently like with a bit of mop on top.

Heard a loud "yes" leave my friends mouth the other day out of no where, and it startled me. Wasn't sure if she'd won the lottery, or maybe she'd just landed her dream job. Guess what was the cause behind this celebration? ... You have hair. I wish I was joking,m, but she's gleeful over that little detail. Apparently you shaved it for a role or something? When you're not busy working on music, what's the one thing you truly love doing to just switch off and forget about everything for a while? Like, is there something you do that helps you clear your head, whether it's going for a walk, reading, or any other thing that helps you relax? I'm hunting ideas for meself here. ( @kvmnamjoons )
