I almost wish this five had shot the other five in the head, and that Lila had said, "ok shit. So I'm short on fives, you're coming with me or I won't be able to get back to your family". At least it would have been an unexpected twist

We overlook that Five was an assassin for only five years of his life. I feel there's this impression that it was his life's work, as if he was destined to be one because of his raw personality, when in fact his life's work was to be a theorist and a survivor. isn't that extra traumatic? Furthermore, it's my personal hc that as an umbrella he never killed because I've always interpreted his power as a defensive weapon

I thought it was cute that Five tried, in his rather non-ideal way, to smooth things over between Diego and Lila. I thought yeah, what a good brother, he's trying so hard to save the relationship 🥺

Think this is one of the only times that we see Five being frightened of gunfire. He’s always able to blink somewhere else. All of his other training went out the window for a moment. If Luther and Allison weren’t trying to grab him, he wouldn’t have known where to go

Not on my first viewing, but after brewing so much headcanon about Sloane and watching their scenes more closely, I eagerly awaited their evolution in S4... and then she was mercilessly erased. Ugh

I think very few people like to see that. There is something inherently wrong there. story-wise, the act is surrounded by betrayal, it's just sad. But the main reason is because a virtually teenager hooks up with a mature woman. I don't know why that doesn't disturb everyone

I've said this before, but to me it's a layered interaction. At first glance it seems as if they want to challenge each other, but deep down I think Five is quite distressed that the commission has gone after Diego, when he says, "you have a obstinate nature" I think he means that Diego has too much heart and life in him to be the kind of unwilling individuals the commission is after, and Diego, of course, just wants to impress Five badly (daddy issues and so on) yes, sibling behavior, but also that of father and son.

Five and Diego's little spat over The Commission is such peak sibling behaviour.

I bet this was the only way they could ever agree or even interact. minimal words, without looking at each other, just feeling each other's flow. the nature of their powers helped them with that

I love this so much. Just look at the teamwork!! It's been so long for both of them, but they used to train and fight together, and you can really see it here.
