Throwback Thursday: Spring 2017. This was an interesting project. My helper and I had to weld shim plates on a bridge for the RTD rail line not far from my shop. It was an old bridge they wanted to keep so the shims leveled it out for the rail. Plates ran from .25” to 1.75”. I got this shot from one of the lifts. The others are from the inspector of my helper and I welding. Solid 3 months of welding and moving plates.
