Erza dragon slayer HCs because I REFUSE to believe she spent years in Irene’s dragon womb and came out with 0 dragon traits

Erza has sharper teeth than most people—as a kid in the tower of Heaven, it meant she was basically the resident pair of scissors.

Unless wearing her armor, Erza constantly feels naked. Like she’s missing an extra layer of protection she never had.

Dragons society is combat-based, which is why Erza is always quick to solve violence through more violence. Nobody will fight around her if they know she can beat them. Luckily, Fairytail is also combat-based, so this works in her favor.

Erza’s hair is more brittle than a regular human’s should be, like thin wires. Jellal thought it was wonderful. Nobody else had the heart to tell her Jellal was absolutely an outlier.

Erza’s mouth is made for withstanding extreme heat, even though she can’t breathe fire. It just gives her a very unfair resistance to spice.

Her senses have always been just a bit better than your average human’s—not as good as a full-blooded dragon slayer, but good.

Erza can eat things she Should Not be able to. She once ate an illusion of a cake during a mission and did not notice it wasn’t real. She simply ate the magic creating the cake. It didn’t even give her a power-boost.

To weaker animals/creatures, Erza naturally registers as a predator. This does affect Elfman, but not Mira or Lisanna. Mira because she has a similar effect in her demon soul forms, and Lisanna because she’s Like That.

Erza tends to bite things to claim them as hers. This was helpful in the tower of heaven, as well as Fairytail, where there were many sneaky children running around. This was not so helpful when she started dating Jellal.

"i don't comment on ao3 because i don't wanna be annoying or weird" skill issue + you greatly underestimate the power dynamic here, writing multi paragraph comments is like feeding a bunch of deeply insane and possibly starved ducks at the park and watch them go completely mad over having received a piece of bread

Tattoo artist Levy is one of my favorite AU Levys and I wanna write something with that sometime, but for now it felt like a great fit for this prompt :3 Also, fun fact, all of her tattoos are inspired by tattoos I'd like to have myself ^^

Gray: Alolan Ninetails, Frosslass, Regice (because Ice construct), Glaceon, Frosmoth, Bergamite

Lucy: Jirachi, Lillipup, Amaura, Sylveon, Clefki, Chimeko (obviously Lucy would also be a great fit for all the star themed legies like Solgaleo and Cresselia, but I had to decide)

Erza: Mega Lucario, King Gambit, Galade, Aegislash, Carbink, Bisharp

Wendy: Swablu, Altaria, Drampa, Audino, Spritzee, Eevee

Gajeel: Steelix, Aggron, Metang, Garchomp/Gabite, Obstagoon, Umbreon

Levy: Noctowl, Alakazam, Chandelure, Polteageist, Shiny Perrsian, Espeon (Levy was difficult since she doesn't really have a fitting gimmick, so I went with Knowledge/old library vibes)

Laxus: Luxio, Jolteon, Joltik (that'd be so cute), Noivern, Zoroark, Zapdos (I feel like Laxus would fit a range of Pokemon, I also had Magnemite and Tyranitar on the list)

Cana: Liepard, Psyduck, Toxicitry, Venipede, Pumkaboo, Mienshao (Cana is like Laxus and Levy, she doesn't have a gimmick, but personality wise she fits a lot of Pokemon so this team was hard lol)

Juvia: Walrain, Lapras, Absol, Primarina, Inkay, Castform

Elfman: Abomasnow, Hariyama, Machamp, Rhyperior, Pangoro, Slaking

Bixlow: Mimikyu, Haunter, Baltoy, Sableye, Cubone, Phantump

Freed: Natu, Flygon, Porygon, Meowscarada, Decidueye, Icognito

Ever: Guardevoir, Celebi, Lopunny, Serperior, Tsareena, Masquerain

Mira: Wobbuffet, Ditto, Banette, Mismagius, Goodra, Hatterene

Lisanna: Meowstic, Vaporeon, Furret, Skitty, Kecleon, Stunky

I would like to draw them all someday but I know I'll never have the time/skill lol

Guys imagine fairy tail but like instead of magic they have like Pokémon, like imagine???? Idk if someone’s mentioned this before but like IMAGINE????

Natsu would def have a charizard and typhlosion

Gray would probs have a glaceon and absol

Lucy is difficult for me bc I feel she’d have like one of each type. I feel like she would definitely have a ride Pokémon… like a Galarian rapidash or a mudbray she was fond of as a kid, but primarina for obvious reasons.

Erza would obviously have fighting types, like mienshao and blazikan, they remind me of some of her armor

Juvia my love, there’s so many water types to choose from!!! Definitely a lapras in my opinion, a vaporeon because she can do the same thing that juvia can do and basically disappear in water. And a magikarp that’s she’s very fond of, of course it’ll eventually evolve in the right scenario but yeah!

Gajeel probs a steelix and skarmory, I think most steel types are ugly, so I’m not putting much thought into this one.



I wanna do more, but I’m super tired it’s abt 4am rn
