Add more depth to your gameplay with this new mod for elderly Sims! Now, older Sims can share stories from their youth, reminisce about old songs, give wise advice, and pass on life lessons to the next generation. With the latest update, adult children can ask their parents to babysit their grandchildren — and get either a positive or a negative response. Elderly Sims can also now grumble for no particular reason. While this might annoy younger Sims, fellow elders will react positively and even join in on the grumbling.

Hello hello! 

I am so happy to finally reveal the special set I’ve been working on with the incredibly talented MADLEN ! 

We’ve been working both in our specific domain, so you will have build buy elements from me, and clothes from him ! 

It’s been a while since I wanted to create a specific set inspired by this TVshow very dear to my heart, and I’m so happy to finally make it, and even more now because it comes with lovely outfits straight out of the show! 

I’ve decided to focus on the kitchen as it’s the most iconic room of the show and it’s also the most versatile items that you will be able to use in your everyday builds! I’ve added a few of my favorite clutters from it like the face vase and blueish wine glasses but also the famous English trifle from Rachel! Don’t worry, it also comes with edible swatches! 

I’ve managed to get the tilted counter version to snap perfectly with kitchen counters and where you can place classical appliances and sinks. It opens more possibilities for my future kitchens! But as the game always has it's own fun, you will have to delete the wall behind the tilted counter to place it perfectly. Otherwise, it will place it with an offset.

You can find the items by searching for ROOMIES or Pierisim in game.

Some items share the same textures so make sure to have the packages finishing by "texture" in your mod folder :)

NOT SO SUBTLE RESHADE PRESET

Okay so time for me to upload my current Reshade preset. I needed something less heavy but covers all the bases for my editing style, with a little...spice.

This was made with ReShade 6.3.1 on a Fedora Linux setup (so Linux users you can use it as well!) and requires the following ReShade shader sets

Prod80

qUINT (for the MXAO and DOF) shaders

MXAO, Bloom, and DOF can be turned on and off with the shortcuts

(and yes tested on darker skintones, as seen on Olive Specter above. Previews taken with my Cinema Secrets lighting mod. photos on the left are taken without the preset, photos on the right with the shader)

today i have another gift for you guys to celebrate reaching 2000 followers on tumblr. this time

i've converted two top only dresses for the pleasant sisters to wear. they're both for teen and adult females, are enabled for everyday only and have all morphs included. the taylor dress has 10 swatches and the anya dress has 16 swatches (swatches 2-7 are my own recolours using rifle paper patterns, the rest are by moontrait)

I've got 16 polycount reductions for you! These are nearly every hair I currently had in my game that was originally over 19.5k. Nearly because there were a few that didn't reduce nicely or threw errors in blender. Some of them might be a teensy bit crunchy or have a few oddities but they all looked pretty good to me - but keep in mind I needed to update my glasses prescription at least 10 years ago as well as I'm far from a perfectionist so feel free to judge these yourself 😅 These are just the meshes so you'll need to go grab your favorite recolors at the database. As always my goal was to create a realistic, messy set that is truly going to represent what usually happens at our desks. Even though I try to keep mine tidy, it somehow always gets super cluttered. And if that's your case as well, than you're going to find this set very relatable!

I saw some umbrella recolours the other day and it really annoyed me how they were behind an ad page that you couldn't get past using adblock. So I made some of my own!
