hm this is a difficult question bc its something I’ve never really thought about Clare’s relationships all that much tbh. But here’s my personal interpretation

love - Eli. obviously. He’s like the only person she ever really loved.

patience - KC. He wasn’t the one for her, but they initially took their time becoming a couple. And when he broke up with her, she initially was gonna wait it out and try to get him back.... which didnt end up happening but STILL

pain - Drew? I guess? I thought the entire plotline was painful to watch and incredibly forced so maybe my personal opinion is slipping in but still, everything about this was MESSY and she would have been in so much less pain if she had not given him the time of day lol

On how she first got involved with Degrassi: When I went to this musical theater program, which I was more focused on the dancing and singing aspect of it but there was acting, it was a triple-threat thing. I was in a class with this boy who was on a little show called Degrassi. His name was Jake Goldsbie and he played Toby on the show and I was starstruck. I was about 11 years old, I’d never seen anybody on TV in real life before so I was super excited because I loved Degrassi, it had already been on for I think a year or two. And I went up to him and asked him for his autograph and he was so sweet. And I think he was so excited that somebody asked him for his autograph. So he gave me his autograph but he was also like, “Oh, you’re doing this program, if you’re ever interested in acting, here’s my agent’s number. You should get your mom to contact them.” So I told my mom about it, we did contact the lady, she ended up bringing me on as my agent and I was with her for about a year.
