It’s a picture I drew in an online class. It is a study of light by time.

I drew it using Photoshop. And the brush is Evan lee’s. (Evan lee_Sampled brush 6 13) Google it and you’ll find it. 

If you want to know how to do this, buy a book called James Gurney’s 《Color and Light》. It’s a Bible for an artist.

Dream Island Tour #5 (Ōame) | by @kinoto.acnh

Fear the Unkown! I’m very impatient for Fall (AKA rewatching Over the Garden Wall season). Just like the cartoon, this island was full of both a comforting nostalgia and a mysterious dread. There was the perfect amount of inspiration weaved into this island, while still remaining it’s own thing (like Avonlea). I listened to the OTGW soundtrack while exploring and I highly recommend it.

Dream Journal #15 - のぴーぴっぴ島 (creator’s twitter)

This island photographs so incredibly well! I am very impressed by the way in which they constructed their landscapes, with scenes like the train station and the beautiful waterfront walk. The way the island is structured means you are forced to follow the path sequentially, and you can’t wander out of bounds, but I still found it very cool regardless!
