hi ego!! i’d really (desperately) like to know what you thought of that last ep7 rhythmic (silver dancing with lilia :’^)) lilia and malleus fighting over which colour silver’s cape should be, malleus dancing with meleanor) cause at that point i was playing that through tears

the rhythmic was so cute! SO CUTE. 😭 the closure, the song...Silver's groovy illustration going with it..."if he's your son, then shouldn't it be PINK :)"..."let's have fun until the very end"...

canon Meleanor chibi...Meleanor watching Malleus dance with everyone and getting a dance herself...Meleanor existing in general...kicking down the doors to my brain to become the only thing I'm capable of thinking about once again...

(though I'm still not over the fact that this is all taking place in the absolute most BONKERS location possible. like, I get it was for Lilia's UM, but also. how did they even get permission for that.)

alas, all the Chuck E. Cheeses were booked solid, so they had to hold it in the remains of the Briar Rose Castle after all. 😔

ALSO the rhythmic does imply that most of the characters are (since they're reacting and interacting with the present) actually spirits and not just memories, which is 1) very sweet of course, allowing for them to put the past to rest and so on, and 2) also extremely funny, considering who all is there and where it's taking place.

What do you think about the broken horn? Think they’re keeping it?

honestly it is RIGHT on the border of where I'd think it could be a permanent design change! like..I was a little afraid they'd just pop the whole thing off, but there's enough of it left that he still reads as Mal without it feeling weird -- and it even still has the little curve in the silhouette! -- though they did make a point of outright saying "we think it'll take 200 years to grow back, but this is Malleus so who actually knows, we sure don't". so...right now I'm kinda leaning towards it being temporary, based on absolutely nothing except vibes, but I think it really could go either way?

I do think it's going to last for a while at least; the power-nerf will make a nice excuse as to why he can't just zap away whatever happens in 8 (and he deserves some time to be able to emote without accidentally killing someone) (this is therapy for Malleus). he's gonna need some time to adapt though. none of his hornwarmers will fit anymore.

(sorry this is super messy, I've been trying to cram in as much drawing as I can but there are, alas, not enough hours in the day to encompass everything I want to draw for 7-13 😔)
