Chemistry maniac. Blew his whole arm off as a teen. Hearing aid on the same ear because he blew his hearing too. Burns on his torso and hip. But damn he got a cool arm with help from Miyu (and Rae)

He’s good with everything explosive and electric. Wires and circuits are no problem (although he may need help soldering sometimes when two ‘flesh and bone hands’ are needed)

He also likes bringing his chemistry into the kitchen, he is a good cook and an absolutely brilliant baker. Especially for Flo. ESPECIALLY. FOR FLO.

(He was not supposed to get a partner or something but then Zed and Flo got married in tomodachi life and I can’t just ignore that can i)

Tools and ways

Ivana does best when keeping her distance. She is good with trick shots. Usually brings her trusty bow. Prefers staying outside the building, maybe spotting with a pair of binoculars. May bring a slingshot or crossbow. Brilliant in forests and has a talent for climbing trees and lampposts alike. She climbs anything at any time.

Rin, being an enforcer, is big enough to take down security guards regardless of their size. She’s creative and the best at improvising when the original plan goes down the drain. (Although she doesn’t always tell her comrades what the new plan is when the first plan goes to shit) Would rather kick down the door than pick the lock. Great for keeping watch when Lou works. Wears the most protective gear. Severely claustrophobic, doesn’t even go into elevators.

Lou is a little lighter and faster. Gentler hands and quicker legs. No lock is safe when he is around. Brings his lockpick kit and a small knife. Maybe a Swiss Army knife with some extra tools? He likes being prepared. Probably has a hammer on his bedside table. A little paranoid like that.

Aria is very protective. Brings brass knuckles (much to Miyu’s demise) and thick gloves with thicker padding. Not great when you need to keep a low profile, but she is great when you need someone who can take on a few. She is quick on her feet and even quicker with her hands.

Cal has the first aid kit. Field medic. Also great at kicking down doors for some reason.

Kaia is very, very silent. And very, very deadly. She can sneak up on anyone from anywhere. No, we don’t know how she does it either. She is like a fucking octopus. Gets through everywhere. Her specialty is being quick and silent through vents, but her sense of space sucks so she gets lost.

Holly may be even smaller than Kaia, but she is much stronger. Can climb on absolutely anything. Her party trick? Climbing ropes using only her arms. And she can also lift her boyfriend Benjamin without breaking a sweat. Benjamin is 6.4" and an absolute unit. Holly is 5 feet tall.

Alina is an all-rounder. Light feet, heavy hands and towers over many. Party trick - knocking out unknowing people with a blow to the back of the head.

Rin. Only that she’s successful in the saving, but ends up losing her own life.

Overprotective characters but it's their fatal flaw and they end up getting badly injured trying to save their friends

Things that will happen in the story at some point

Miyu gets taken in by spec ops

When back out, Ivana is so fucking pissed because she hasn’t heard from Kora in months because tHeY hAvE tO lAy LoW

And then Miyu gets out and says they have to STAY low?? Ivana will worry so much she is close to losing her shit

Aria’s knee gives out during something important

Miyu choking on her coffee because someone says something funny

Lou taking a big hit for Rin

Ivana on a rooftop with a crossbow

Smiley stepping up when Miyu is out of commission, which greatly pisses off Alina.

Rin falls off a roof and dies

Miyu surrendering, putting her hands behind her head. Her eyes meet Alina’s. Alina gives her a quick nod before running off. She got the memory card. It’s going to be okay.

EMILY (or is her name Evelyn?? I forgot)

Chiaki’s Papers.

Chi did a lot of journals before she got infected, so it was only natural that she started journaling everything she discovered once she got sick.

I don’t think there will be a safe. Maybe it’s just a briefcase with double code locks. Some puzzly shit as well, probably. That’s why they haven’t been able to open it.

Inside said briefcase there are several journals, all thick with post-it notes and pictures. Different names on every label. Antonia Ricci. Chiaki Okita. Galaxy. The last one just has a few planet doodles on the cover. That book is only half full because she got kidnapped and died.

Maybe Miyu gets the briefcase from Emily once she gets broken out? It could be Emily’s way of proving she is actually on their side despite being hired by the enemy. Emily opening up Miyu’s locked room, telling her it’s time. “They’re here. You might want this. It was left behind in the Thunder Raid.” (Thunder raid being the raid where chiaki got taken in)

(Cut to Lou opening the briefcase with Rin(?), Miyu and Ivana) Under the books, there are two memory cards taped to a hard drive. Ivana reaches over Lou’s shoulder to take it, letting out a low whistle in impressment after examining it.

I don’t really know what the books are gonna say. But it’s gonna be a lot about the signs Chiaki and Rae noticed on Miyu.

Rae. Renata Okánsky. I don’t really know how to wrap her in. Maybe I have too many characters? Too many names?

The memoir door.

A door with a bunch of colorful handprints on it. One for each person who had ever been infected. Black dot on the thumb if they’re no longer alive.

It was Rin’s idea. She didn’t want anyone to be forgotten. Originally, she wanted it to be a wall. But a door is easier to take with them. Don’t leave any clues behind.

There are many prints on the door now. They’ve tried to keep them as tightly together as possible, but the door is filling up faster than ever. Maybe they’ll start using the back of the door too before long.

Currently thinking about Aria going absolutely mad when she wakes up back at the safe house after being knocked out during a critical mission. Only seeing a silhouette in front of her, she’d probably think they got her. She’d definitely try to hit whoever is sitting on her bedside. Probably accompanied by a soft gasp due to the unexpected pain her sudden movements would cause.

The person in front of her easily grabs her fist. “Woah, easy! You’re okay, it’s just me.” Ivana, maybe?

- He traced the rim of his coffee cup with his finger, lost in thought.

- She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, her eyes avoiding direct contact.

- He absentmindedly twisted the ring on his finger, a silent habit he'd had for years.

- She sighed almost imperceptibly, a sign of her hidden frustration.

- He raised an eyebrow, a subtle signal of skepticism.

- She adjusted her glasses, a small gesture that indicated her nervousness.

- He tapped his fingers on the table, creating a quiet rhythm only he understood.

- She let out a soft, barely audible chuckle, a sign of her amusement.

- He folded the corner of a page in the book he was reading, a secret way of marking his favorite passages.

- She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, revealing her discomfort in the situation.

i wanted to send people asks about their wips and ocs more often. not only to promote them but also because everyone makes really cool stories. the sheer amount of detail and work that people put into their projects is amazing but often gets untold. and i wanted to start learning about them and trying to promote it to the best of my ability.

i sent out a bunch of asks yesterday and i want to do more. i dont want to intrude or be weird though so i wanted to get a list of people who would like asks.
