What’s something about your Aphverse rewrite (any you might have) that you really like, but never really got the chance to yap about? Like, something you think is just so neat, but it’s never come up?

I sadly don’t have any art to go with this but I want to answer!

Something I love about my rewrite, but I’ve never got to talk about is the mythology I’ve created for it. The mythology of the actual story is few and far between, but I have created I feel adds more depth.

We have Gods, their saints, and their different stories now; a good example of this is a story for an entire species and how werewolves are connected to shade the destroyer.

I am a big fan of Greek mythology and mythology in general so coming up with these origin stories and the mythology for a world I grew up with has been something I am really proud of myself about.

I’ve written stories on my own with mythology, but I never got to have as much fun with those stories as I am having with the mythology of Minecraft diaries.

I hope to share more of the mythology I’ve written with the rest of the fandom because I just find it very neat!

Travis is Odysseus coded because you can’t be the great grandson of the god of knowledge, have trickster energy, be absolutely in love with your wife/husband, be a top notch archer and not be!

Yes I made Travis and archer because there are to many swords in this damn show! And I promise I’ve been working on the rewrite behind the scenes just been slow as of late.

May I introduce

Clarion valkrum!!

Clarion valkrum come from the dimension of Daemos and was once a highly acclaimed assassin within his guild and even had a family. Being an assassin he was forced to give up his family in the making and that included giving up his newborn child (he didn’t kill the child simply put them up for adoption!). In his morning for the family he could have had he went on a killing spree taking out a whole clan of elite, this crime had him sent to the human realm in exile.

He was found by a small mage village that took care of him until healthy enough to leave. His experience with the mages showed him his own magic could be used for more and so he put himself onto a quest to better himself when he met his future husband.

While wondering the woods one day on his quest clarion found he was being followed by a strange white haired man. He threatened him with his weapon getting the man’s name, Enki the keeper one of Irene’s Devine warriors. They chat and Enki offers food in return for clarion to let him study him since they never seen a daemon before. Agreeing because he’s hungry clarion goes to Enki’s library to be studied and they actually fell in love.

Clarion and Enki got married and had a son now known as Saint Sabrial and from there union began the valkrum bloodline… but there was also another branch of the valkrum blood line spawned from clarion and that was from the child he was forced to give up. Back in daemos that child grew up and had there own family eventually a boy named Octavian was born baring a striking resemblance to his human world family members.

Did I do this just because I thought it was a bit sus travis and lief look so alike? Yes. Do I care if there in separate universes? Nope! And to clarify clarion does regret giving up his original family but he’s happy with the family he has built.

I saw a lot of people drawing enki himself as the demonic one but I thought it be fun if it was actually his spouse who was the “demonic” one.

This brings back memories! Me and my sister had our own little Minecraft rp that we did for just us on our family x-box. All these skins were different characters, the Swedish Alex skin was my main character.
