I’m really intrigued by this whole “demigods getting screwed by their own powers” concept

children of Hephaestus with third degree burns all over their arms from the forge

children of Hephaestus with odd bits and pieces from their projects ending up inside of them in places they can’t be removed and they’re just setting off metal detectors for the rest of their lives

children of Ares with callouses and unstable joint structure from a young age due to training too heavy too fast

children of Apollo with sensitivity to light due to over exposure at a young age

children of the Muses with ankle deformities from dancing all of the time

Apollo kids slowly losing their hearing without noticing

Hades children sapping more and more of their lifeforce every time they overextend themselves, ending up with thin blood and dying brain cells

children of Iris who go colorblind

Hecate kids mutating their own bodies with each spell until almost all of their cells are cancerous

Hermes kids with debilitating stutters and/or the inability to carry conversations

children of Dionysus always having higher addiction rates/all of them becoming addicted to something due to their ability to easily make it

children of Demeter who channel all of their energy into growing plants quickly and ending up killing all of their antibodies and dying from something like the common cold

Apollo healers being so focused on their patients that they don’t feel the migrain that says that their brain is hemorrhaging
