Outdoor Rock Shower and Grog Barrel End Table
Note: This is for Sims 3
I remembered I made these last year (looks like June?) for my sim when I was doing a Midnight Sun Challenge.
If I remember correctly, the rock I used for the shower is one from the base game that I resized and I mashed together with an outdoor shower. I know lhawk07 did one on MTS here, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for that I couldn't quite put my finger on so I poked at my own until I liked it.
However, the grog barrel end table was something I'd been salty about for a lonnng time. I remember when I got Barnacle Bay (pretty much after it first came out hehe) and I was annoyed even way back then that the grog barrel was just deco and not a table. So I finally fixed it for myself. I resized it to where it was end table height and cloned an end table from the base game and adjusted the slots in TSRW so they actually sat on the barrel.
These are standalone objects, you don't need anything else to use them. Both have been compressorized.
Known issues:
The sim will momentarily clip into the rock at certain points when they shower, and the shower spray kind of starts in mid-air at certain angles. This was the middle ground I found that I was happy with where the sim wasn't showering inside the rock or the shower spray wasn't too far away from the rock. I also didn't make it recolorable because I didn't feel the need to. Feel free to do so if you want to.

Details:
Castaway Outdoor Shower: S3PE says 203 Vertices/242 Polygons. File size: 816K. Download here: BOX
Grog Barrel End Table: S3PE says 458 Vertices/342 Polygons. File size: 125K. Download here: BOX
TOU: No paysites or paywalls. Other than that, I don't really care. I just make things for my sims sometimes for funsies or just to see if I can.

I tried the Any Game Starter on Mod the Sims, but was having a hard time figuring out how to get it to recognize my mods folder. Probably user error on my part tbh. I'm on 1.67 so no Origin and I never use the launcher for anything.
However, I found another Any Game Starter over on Simlogical by Kuree that works beautifully. You can get it HERE.
One tip - when you extract the zip file, there will be a folder called "Release". You need to leave the .exe folder in that folder and double click on it from in there for it to work. If you remove the .exe from the folder (for example if you drag it out to your desktop) it won't work.
You just double click Starter.exe inside the folder to open the program and you'll get window will open that looks like the above. Click on the packs you want to disable and they will become greyed out. Because I don't use the launcher, I just click the "Start Game" button to fire it up. I just started using this and it seems to recognize my mods folder with no problem that I saw.
I haven't played around with the User Profile Control section, so I couldn't speak to how that works. Yes, I have every pack on disc lol. I was just thinking about starting a Lepacy (again), and this will be really helpful.

EA McKracken Beds, Deposted and Destenciled, Default Replacement OR Standalone Versions
Doing some building without CC or store content (yes, ouch) made me realize how many EA beds I just don't use at all like the McKracken ones. I thought they wouldn't be too bad without the posts or the stencils. Pretty much what I was looking for in the build I was doing.
So I removed the posts, repositioned the knobs, added a specular, and removed most of the stencils. I left a subtle one on preset 5 that I didn't hate. Also bumped up the energy rating from 4 to 6.
And in an attempt to have less clutter in my buy catalog, I did default replacements for them as well.
If you never want to see the EA versions again, download the default replacement versions HERE
If you want the EA versions and my edited versions in your game, download the standalone versions HERE
Hope you enjoy!

The Ninth Wave Sims' One Tile Keyboard Converted for Sims 3
As someone who builds smaller lots, I've always missed Ninth Wave Sims' one tile keyboard from Sims 2. Their original Sims 2 version is HERE. So I tried my first ever conversion because of their generous TOU and it turned out pretty nicely.
Download my Sims 3 conversion on Box HERE.
Here's the footprint for the 4-tile keyboard from Late Night versus NinthWave's one tile version:

The only issue I've seen is that the sims' hand plays the keyboard off the side a bit because of the smaller size.

Hope you enjoy!
Any and all credit for the original object goes to The Ninth Wave Sims. Please respect their TOU. All I ask is no paysites or paywalls.
@misspats3 here you go!

The original link didn't save for some reason and the tumblr app won't let me edit the post, so reblogging my own post with it. The Garden of Shadows post is HERE. Just click on where it says "Eternal Thirst".

Lots of drink bottle deco by Kativip on Garden of Shadows. All of the bottles and cans are singles.
Download HERE.

Hello😊 Unfortunately I can't download this item because the page box comes up and no download appears, what could be the reason?
When you get to the Garden of Shadows post, click the link that says "Download Fixed Version". It'll redirect you to Box, and when you get there, click the button that says "Download". The creator still has it available on their account there. I just tried it and it works fine for me.

Hab you make more Objects from sims 1 to sims 2?
Sorry, I don't make CC for the Sims 2. I just reblog and post what I like for my own games. I'm currently playing Sims 3, so haven't kept up with Sims 2 cc, but I do know that @madraynesims has done some really nice 1to2 and 1to3 conversions though!

I beg you, WHERE I can find BUDGIE2BUDGIE (or BUDGIE_BUDGIE) sims 2 cc? It seems that they deleted their sims 2 cc content.😭 Please, help me.
Hello lenarosic! :-D there are four downloads over at their new(?) tumblr, and more things on their livejournal (<- dl tag, click on "go earlier" at the bottom to go further back), one download on packrat and page 1 of the "sims 2 download object" tag from their old tumblr has been saved via wayback - and I found this link on my dash today and this link via pinterest. Seeing how all downloads are hosted on mediafire, I'll back-up their content soon to this sfs folder :-) in the meantime, to get the download links from wayback, simply delete this part:
https://web.archive.org/web/20190401133318/https://t.umblr.com/redirect?z=https%3A%2F%2Fmfi.re%2Fdownload%2Fwwhan2a9powct0e%2FPharmacySet.rar&t=ZmMyOGJjYjczZjc4NjhhZDQxZjM5ZGE2NjEwODlmM2EwNGJiZWM5ZCxUVzdHVTlneg%3D%3D&b=t%3Ath1hgE9Q8YdtmssZ4ueeew&p=http%3A%2F%2Fbudgie2budgie.tumblr.com%2Fpost%2F84272157110%2Ftwo-poster-sets-for-your-sims-pharmacy-set-1-on&m=1
and it will take you to the download.
This isn't everything from budgie, so if anyone seeing this has anything from them, please do re-upload! :-)

Wonderful things are happening at the Historical Sims Discord, and you should join us there!
My contribution to The Society Papers monthly theme! This set features Kativip’s Memory Series Hospital and Laboratory objects edited to be made functional, rescaled, and/or into clutter.
Bed - The mesh has been edited to remove the stuffed animal at the foot of the bed and the texture has been cleaned up for a less worn look. Bedpan - A functional bedpan cloned from Sunni’s chamber pot with a deco version. Both have been rescaled to a better proportion and a lovely re-texture by Cupcakeyy has been included. Chair - The decorative chairs have been rescaled, and a functional version made. Crutches - Base texture on the mesh has been edited to remove the black part at the bottom, with a smaller crutch created to fit child sims. Additional recolors can be found here.
Instruments - Clutter created from the main mesh with everything repositoried to the tray that’s full of instruments. Pail - Rescaled and recolored to include a water texture. Painting - Base object texture replaced and Science enthusiasm added when the Sim views the painting with the FreeTime expansion pack. Radiator - Made functional using Raynuss’s Home Comforts radiator object and edited to stay viewable with walls down. Sims will “Warm Up” if their temperature is too low. Coat Rack - The mesh has been edited to remove clutter and made functional for the Seasons expansion pack. Microscope - Made functional using Fractured Moonlight’s microscopes and sims will gain both Logic skill and Science enthusiasm with it.
Everything has been labelled, compressed, repositoried where possible, and resorted into various Buy Mode categories depending on the type/function of the object. A collection file has been included for convenience. Some objects will overwrite the originals. A huge thank you to Kativip, Raynuss, Sunni, Fractured Moonlight, and Fire_flower for their work/assistance with making this set possible! DOWNLOAD

TS2Male is a blog dedicated to keeping a database of male custom content for sims 2. This also includes content for trans masculine sims.
This post is not only to advertise this blog, but also a request. Content can be hard to find on tumblr, so if you can tag me in your male cc posts using #ts2malefinds or notify us of cc you find in or outside of tumblr (using pms, asks, or @'ing us), that would help me out immensely.

Thank you for 100 followers! I thought a good way to celebrate is to upload my first object downloads!
The first gift is a recreation of the Clown Confetti ingredient. This ingredient is typically given as a reward from the NPCs of Magictown. Luckily, you can easily purchase it without having to go through the trouble of tracking one down. It’s polycount is 186 and is placeable on OFB shelves. I used a hex generator so that the GUID is new, let me know if it conflicts with anything.
The second gift are four recolors for Pixelry’s Shopping bag. I needed some bags for the Bateman’s grocery store, so I recolored them and added the recycling logo. Since Pixelry’s tumblr apperas to be deleted, I added the mesh in case you don’t have it in your downloads yet.

We need your help!
The Default Database is a growing and active resource for the Sims 2 community! But its current mods need help keeping it up and running. We all know life gets in the way of running communities and this one is no different…
The Database is looking for 1 to 2 new mods!
Requirements: TIME (2 hours or less a week at current submission rates), Photoshop (and knowledge of some basic tools), ability to communicate with the other mods at GoS, and an attention to detail.
Process: Send me (ZeroDark/ZeroGraphic) an application either via Tumblr PM or via Garden of Shadows PM. Include your screen name (Sims community name if different), why you’d like to be involved in the Default Database project, and any questions you have.
PLEASE REBLOG THIS!

I saw @sims2packrat's post here with the anon asking about Katy76/PC-Sims content, and I think I may have some things they don't have like the Alien Intercom.
So I uploaded what I have on my Box account HERE.
Between their files and mine, I think it might be pretty much everything?
