I hate doing dark scenes, the shading is so boring and doesn't look as good :(

also i couldn't figure out how to make the 'flash back' panels look good with the yellow overlay (since it's from Z's POV and it's in the orig ep), i also tried to show that the memories are being 'fixed' as they're being viewed, so hopefully that comes across ok

anyway, gonna have a small extra scene to link some stuff together next, then we resume the ep as normal!

first pages in the pod! made a minecraft build of this so it'd be easier to draw and keep all the details lol

on the first page i made nate nod, but it looks weird bc i forgot to colour the movement lines white :( but otherwise i think everything gets across as i wanted

also kinda made up the lighting a lil bit since there's like 6 light sources, i could not be bothered to figure that out XD

also also, i decided to keep the scratch on val's glasses! which also made me reconsider how i did the glasses in the comic. dunno if she's gonna keep the glasses for the whole comic, i might have her lose them at some point, since it's a bit annoying having to have a whole seperate layer JUST for them and it takes up space, but they're also cute, so idk :P

the 4th page is my favourite btw lol

tessa's role is taken by thad, cyn has doll's (sorta) role, and nori is the absolute solver host :)

Murder Drones Switch is an AU of the original Murder Drones show, where each character has a different role. The main characters of this comic are Val (V), Nate (N) and Serial Designation Z (Uzi).

There are plans to adapt each episode, plus 3 interludes. Currently, the comic is about halfway through Episode 1.

Comic updates are not consistent.

Hey! I'm back! Told you I'd be finished soon :)

Anyways, yay! I get to do the next part in a different environment!! Finally... I actually did a minecraft build for inside the pod n stuff so that I could do more detailed backgrounds, I might do it for other common places, but we'll see :P

Don't have much other stuff to say, I was really really sick of drawing this scene, but I've sketched out a lil bit of the next page and it already feels so much better! We'll see how long that lasts, but I will say I'm happy with the poses so far, much more expressive and interesting lol

Hiii!!!! Sorry this took so long, I've had a lot of stuff going on and I also was gonna originally do 5 pages at once instead of doing these 2, then the next 3 (which r half finished so you can expect them sooner than later :))

ANYWAY I changed the lighting up a lil bit to make it more interesting, and I also played a little w pen sizes (The speech bubbles + the outline of one of the panels r thicker) but admittedly, i'm looking forward to getting into a new lighting situation, coz i'm kinda sick of this lighting lol

anyway, looking excited to see the other DDs? :D

i also did some testing for a bit of different panelling, which i like! i wanna try and use it more, but it might be more of a thing i use during fight scenes idk lol

i also hope the shadings alright, for the panels with the different/colourful backgrounds i didnt rlly know how to do the shading, and im not sure if it looks right :P

anyways, my fav page is probs 13 lol

We get our first DD visit next pages!!!!! :D

I also recently watched a video about a comic and got a bit inspired by the comic layouts, so I'm trying smthing a bit different w it in that regard, but thats all next pages.

as you can see here, i stuck with the new shading style, and i think it looks really great! Definitely has more mood and interest now. i've also been trying a bit more on the backgrounds and environments, as you can see where the setting takes centre stage for a few panels (i love doing it :D)

anyways, get excited for the small fight scene next up! i know i am!!!

finally finished these pages!! sorry about that lol, got busy n stuff

anyways, for these pages i was testing what i wanted to do for the shading of the comic (mainly just tested with coloured filter, coloured filter + coloured shading, coloured shading, in that order), and i think i'm gonna just do coloured shading. i rlly like how the colours pop out more, maybe i will add a tiny bit of a coloured filter, but otherwise, i like that one :)

anyways, almost to meeting the murder drones! :)

decided to try a little harder w the shading on this page, still not entirely sure how i wanna do the pages, but its good for now :)

also like these pages a lot more, got to do a lot more interesting shots, especially when the railgun was introduced

also the last shot is supposed to be a scene change, but i didnt know how to convey that, so if anyone has any tips, that'd be great!

will admit tho, the first page is kinda eh (especially that explosion rip) but i wasn't going too hard with the effort admittedly
