Heartbreak
O, heartbreak, how I’ve misunderstood you so much. I’ve underestimated your intensity. It is absolutely crippling. It is merciless. It is a cruel joke. You are selfish. You are heartless. My love extends to the ends of this universe, but you couldn’t care less to see it or even know of it. To love someone you cannot have, to love someone who doesn’t have even short-term friendship with you in mind. To realize just how short our time together is. To constantly beg for a sign that perhaps you, too, are in love with me in the way I am with you, and to, time and time again, receive a sign that you are not in the least bit interested in me. DAMN! IT HURTS! My heart is set ablaze. Engulfed in flames. How could I love someone so much, whom I cannot even make mine? Who does not want to make me theirs? Entrapped in this entanglement—my heart bleeds incessantly. What is the need in going through this? Falling deeply and madly in love with someone unattainable, someone whom I would never, ever see again.

Shanti Mantras : Hindu Universal Prayers for peace #1

kāle varṣantu parjanyaḥ pṛthivīśasyaśālinī ।
deśo'yaṃ kṣobharahito brāhmaṇāḥ santu nirbhayāḥ ।।
aputrāḥ putriṇaḥ santu putriṇaḥ santu pautriṇaḥ ।
adhanāḥ sadhanāḥ santu jīvantu śaradāṃ śatam ।।
This particular shloka is one of the prarthana shlokas (prayer verses) commonly used to pray for the welfare of the nation. This shloka can be often heard in the end of devotional and spiritual discourses. Completion of poojas or auspicious rituals etc. It is also recited in the end of asheervaada mantras (blessing mantras) Let us elaborate the meaning of this shloka.
This can be recited daily early in the morning and before sleep. it will be a good influence for us and our surroundings.
May the god of rain (Indra) rain at the right time. May the rain clouds rain in time. May the earth posses lot of grains. May this country (this place) be free of agitations and troubles, may the Brahmins be fearless, May those without sons get sons, may those with sons get grandsons, may the money-less attain money, may all live for hundred springs.
Rain is only good when it is timely, when it is in correspondence with the right time when it is needed for watering the crops and rains can destroy crops during harvest. That is prayed for here.
May the earth possess grains all the time. Meaning let that be agriculture in all seasons. Let the land not be empty in any.
May the country be free of internal and external conflicts, war, droughts and any calamities.
May the Brahmins. Here the word Brahmin refer to the quality and not the mere caste. The learned people who are the intellectuals of the country, they who know the dharma and abide by it and teach dharma even to the kings when they get confused. They are the advisories of the king and the country. So here the fearlessness is contextual. If they fear the king and keep silence when they have to advice then the entire country will face the consequences. They are also the teachers and hence this also indicates that they should be able to implant knowledge in the right way fearlessly.
If the intellectuals fear voicing their opinions in times of wrong decisions by kings, it brings unfavorable circumstances to the country. That is why the advisor should be wise and fearless.
May the chain of the lineages not break. May all have sons and may they pass on their knowledge and values. Here we should take both sons and daughters by the word son. Let the poor attain wealth, may all live for a thousand springs spring is an wonderful season of happiness and by praying to live thousand springs, living a long and happy life is prayed for.
This is a very auspicious prayer to be recited daily. May the almighty bless us with all good fortune and welfare.

There is nothing Kaali Maa can’t fix. When I’m broken, She picks me up and fits all of the broken pieces back together. She is the answer, She is the key. In moments when I lack mental clarity, Maa communicates with me instantly and helps me. O, Maa, there could never be enough words to glorify you. Your glories truly are infinite. Jai Maa Kaali. Jai Ambe Maa. Jai Durga Maa. Jai Maata Di.

Even while walking on the most captivating of paths, man loses interest, man loses motivation, man unintentionally accepts with open arms tiredness. The general make-up of man lacks discipline. Discipline is built, it does not come naturally. It is built when weakness tries to overcome the mind, yet the mind fights relentlessly with the body to carry out the task. Out of 365 days, your devotion to Durga Ma may be present naturally on only 182 days, yet you strive for devotion on the rest of the 183 days. That’s what makes you a winner. Not the 182 days, but the 183 days of fighting and endurance. The desire for bhakti continues to burn in your heart. Considering all of that, who is more fortunate than you, O seeker?
Jai Mata Di!

I was just a little, immature girl until Ma Durga took me into her lap and instantly transformed me into a strong and courageous young woman, braver than I could have ever envisioned myself to be. It is because of the strength and support She has given me that I have been able to take a stand for my happiness, that I have been able to take actions my heart desires that no longer seek the approval of society. Ma Durga has truly liberated me. Along the way, some relationships were severed, but I wouldn’t trade anything for my newfound closeness to Her. Through having full faith in Ma protecting me, providing for me, and guiding me, fearlessly taking paths I have continuously shied away from in the past, it seems the entire world has opened its arms to me to catch me when I fall through the grace of Ma.
Ma Kali, Ma Durga, Ma Shakti, Ma Ambe Ma, Ma Chamunda, Ma Vaishno Devi. O Ma, in all of your glorious forms, taking You as my support and refuge to cross the treacherous waters of this bhav saagar, this ocean of worldly existence, I have no regrets.
Jai Mata Di! 🙏🏼

It’s never easy to be the one to initiate. It’s most difficult on the one who starts the task, and it’s most easy on the ones who follow along after the foundation has been built. To be that example for others to follow is tough; but to live a contradictory lifestyle that you, within the depths of your heart, entirely disagree with and does not bring you as much satisfaction is onerous.
Don’t settle for less just because you carelessly choose to be lazy.

Is this a sign for me? That I am loved and have a chance to persevere, much to the disapproval of everyone else?
