Pinocchio 3000 Concept Art

An extensive visual development phase preceded the production of the film. Early on, a team of illustrators, concept artists and designers was assembled. Their mission: to imagine a futuristic world for a revisited classic tale.

The creative crew developed designs influenced by European fantastic art and Anime to achieve a funny, improbable, retro-looking depiction of a 4th Millenium world.

Damn I’m kinda sad about this one, I could have done a better work if I had been patient, and waited until I had figured out his design and cleaned the lineart before coloring….. It just looks weird…

Ah well, might draw him again soon with a better idea in mind!
