he loves him... ill make a drawing where ethan is being nicer... its like a really affectionate big dog that ur dad did not want but now he really likes it but he still acts like he doesnt care and hes all flippant about it LOL

whenever i draw wintersberg i cant help but draw it in a joking way because i feel like the dynamic has so much potential of "im so tired i want to go home vs i want you" 😭 karl loves him very much and ethan loves him too, he wouldnt tolerate karl if he didnt...

karl loves him very very much and ethan appreciates that but it makes him flustered alot , in any wintersberg au i draw karl (obviously) did not propose to use rosemary as a fighter jet so i think ethan would also just have a very deep appreciation for karl helping him get her back

i think karls love language is a lot more physical and hed make ethan lots of little trinkets and make rosemary toys as well and ethan would think its really sweet, hes also a very touchy guy and always likes to be holding at least some part of ethan LOL

i actually dont think heisenberg would actually say the words "i love you", i think its really difficult for him but he defiently DOES love him

ethans love language is with words and acts of service (sacrficie ?) i think ethan would be very willing to do anything he can for karl if he knew it was very important to him, he throws around "i love you" very often and i think at first karl would try and play it off like "i know you do" but after awhile he doesnt skip around it and accepts it 😭

they support/ depend on each other because after re8 i dont think ethan would be in the best place and i dont think karl would be able to manage on his own considering hes been living in a little village with barely any technology for 100 years

they have each other to lean on...

whilw i dont think their relationship would be perfect (karl doesnt ever really say sorry, ethan has major trust issues) it defiently has potential and i think they could be very cute together...

i like the concept of ethan helping karl adapt to modern life and i think its very sweet

imagine you get horribly mutated and kidnapped to an inescapable island where the only times you’re not completely isolated is when you’re getting hunted down and attacked by people who see your head as a glorious trophy. imagine begging for them to listen, begging for your life, but they only see it as trickery and weakness. eventually you give up trying to convince them and strike first cause you want to survive. now for the first time in 700 years you meet someone who isn’t taking orders from your abductor or an overconfident fool striving for legendary status. theyre like you but marked for death and old hopes reignite, but your amiability has rusted over from centuries of cruelty.

wouldn’t it be wild if they were the first to listen anyway.

greek mythology au returns. concept sketches of the girls

1: sphinx alcina (alina) and her harpy daughters

Alina was once a noblewoman and musician singing Athena’s praises, until the goddess herself offered rich rewards if she would serve her. Upon accepting, Athena turned her into a sphinx and took her to the first of the islands where she would gather treasures from all the warriors she killed.

2: aphrodite mia and athena miranda

Athena lost her daughter Pallas (eva), an aspiring warrior/hero, when she accidentally killed her during training. Afterwards she was deep in grief and fiercely jealous of Zeus’s demigod children getting promoted to gods and living peacefully on Olympus, so she created monsters to lure forth any warrior good enough to take as her own (meanwhile, she runs the same trick on the monsters, telling them that if they serve her and kill the unworthy they will have a place with her among the pantheon).

Aphrodite, infamous for her vanity, paradoxically took a liking (entirely platonic for the purpose of this au) to Elias (ethan) when he was young because of his beauty and gave him blessings throughout his life, intending to make him her servant on Olympus one day. She was Not pleased when Athena blinded/sent him off to her gauntlet of monsters and made sure the soldiers sailing him there would land on Kyril’s (karl) island where he would be relatively safe, especially from the gorgon’s stone gaze.

3: arachne donna (daphne) and angie (aretha)

Daphne was an exceptionally talented weaver, who created a tragically beautiful tapestry to cope with the loss of her family. Her craftsmanship and isolation made her the perfect candidate for Athena, who turned her into a giant spider and took her to the islands where she would serve her with her artistry as well as her newfound lethality.

4: evie and rose as the minor gods of fear and panic

The two deities were stolen away by Athena to keep as her children, as well as her prisoners. They are kept in captivity on Alina’s island (behind the gate she guards) where their powers are being used as a barrier between the archipelago and the mainland (anyone who tries to leave will be paralysed with fear and anyone who first arrives won’t have doubts about setting foot on the islands before it’s too late to turn back).
