After weather delays, the boats are back on track in their mission to break the blockade and are continuing their journey to Gaza.

Italian dockworkers are threatening to ban goods from Israel if the Gaza flotilla is blocked or stopped. One dockworker says, "If we lose contact with our boats... even for just 20 minutes, we will shut down all of Europe."

What can you do for me and my family? I won't lie to you. I need a lot of donations because of our catastrophic situation. Make my happiness complete. Just 10 euros would make me 100% happy. Yesterday I was with my friends near the place where the displaced people are. We were playing football. Night came, so I greeted them one by one, as if I was saying goodbye to them.

I went home, sat on Tumblr for a while, then suddenly fell asleep at 1:30 a.m. A house next to us, not 50 meters away, was bombed. It was my friends’ house, so I ran quickly, my tears falling, drop by drop. They took one out, so I looked at him and found that he was my new friend, whom I had only met two weeks ago. Then they took out his little sister, who was no more than 10 years old. My heart was beating so fast that it almost stopped. Then they took out the rest. I am Shams from Gaza, 17 years old, a girl from a family of 7. I was in my first year of high school before the war. I loved my family, my school, my friends, and life itself. But the war came and took everything I loved away.

The days have passed filled with loss and hunger. We no longer go to school—education has stopped, my school and home were bombed, and now my sister, her four daughters, and I all live in a single room.

We are struggling just to find a bite to eat, to have a roof that protects us from rain, rocket shrapnel, and the smell of gunpowder. Time passed, and I was supposed to take my final exams this year, but the war took away our right to education in every way.

We are facing the worst living conditions—insanely high prices for food, cleaning supplies, and medicine. We are displaced after losing our home. My father was injured while trying to find food; he suffers from a herniated disc in his back.

We are truly in need of help. Life here is almost impossible, and the conditions are extremely harsh. Please help me secure shelter, food, medical care, and at least a livable situation. A little from you can make a big difference.
