Komaru's face slowly passed into a frown at the response, however, and pouted at the nurse for a few moments, squeezing her just a little tighter. It was something she often did with Makoto and her other friends back at school, and if the cuddler is what she had to be, then she'd do it with all her heart. She might be pretty, but first and foremost she was a friend, and Komaru had to make sure she knew that.

"Tsumiki-senpai, I'm not even going to talk about how ridiculous what you just said to me is, but I can tell you that I totally wouldn't let anyone hurt one of my friends, okay?" She huffed and ran her fingers through Tsumiki's hair, massaging her scalp gently with her fingertips. "I'm doing good, I think, Tsumiki-senpai."

"H-hey, do you want me to braid your hair, or anything? It might look really cute."

Mikan relaxed ever so slightly around the other girl, who hadn’t given her a reason to keep her guard up as of yet, but it wasn’t something that she easily lowered around others. When Komaru sat next to her the nurse fidgeted out of habit, pulling at her dark locks in a moment of nervousness. When the girl wrapped an arm around her back the lightest of pink tinges covered her cheeks and she did the same to Komaru. 

"E-eh?" She paused, taken off guard by the question. Someone actually….someone was actually inquiring about her and her safety? "….n-no!" She answered quickly, giving a reassuring smile. "I…t-thank you for your c-concern, though I a-am unsure as to why you’d inquire about someone as…as pathetic as myself. H-how…how are you faring…?"
