Episode 8: She Had a Marvelous Time Ruining Everything

August slipped away like a moment in time, and we're already heading towards the end of the challenge... But Cornelia still has some surprises in store!

Cornelia: Before you ask, I could have moved to a cabin in the woods, wrapped up in my cosy cardigan. But for some reason, the producers still insist on this house.

Cornelia: Now that there's four of you, this is a perfect setting for the apple bobbing challenge! Rules are simple - whoever pulls out more apples from the tank with their mouth, wins! The winner gets two interactions from me, which at this stage are really crucial!

Laura: Okay, guys, get ready to lose!

The others: No way!

Cornelia is cheering her contestants on!

By the way, they've changed positions because the first attempt glitched out and there was no winner, so I had to try again.

As for Kitty, she's talking to Carson on the phone! They've become very close friends throughout the challenge, even despite that mishap in the previous episode.

Cornelia kept her promise about taking her contestants to unwind from now on - once she learned about a show taking place at the karaoke bar, she decided to attend it together with the final four!

Due to the arriving late though, they only managed to see the ending of the performance, but still had a great time😂

Kitty's closing words: I really don't know what happened because until the last moment I was pretty sure I liked Cornelia and saw something happening with her in a romantic sense. But... maybe whenever I saw how electrifying is her chemistry with some of the others, something would stir in me, and I realised our connection probably just wasn't on the same level. Maybe I self-sabotaged a bit. But regardless, I'm glad I got this experience and it taught me a lot. I will miss Cornelia and the others and am glad I've made so many friends and have been through so much with them!

@/blurrypxls thank you so much for Kitty! I enjoyed her greatly and she was an amazing sim to have in the BC. I could definitely see her with Cornelia, there were moments where I shipped them (like when Cornelia would autonomously flirt with her at the beach), but I guess she wasn't always consistent in her efforts, she had her highs and lows and every episode it was unpredictable whether she'd be among the leaders or in the bottom two. But hey this was exactly why she was so fun to watch and she still managed to make the final four, good job! Can't wait to see what awaits her next, some insider knowledge tells me it's not the last time we will see her... 👀

I just absolutely had to do this, at first I thought it was very self-indulgent (you know how they say, be your own target audience) but I actually figured out how to make it make sense and... Once again I'm so excited! I can't believe it's finally time!

Also as if I'm not done yelling, Taylor Swift is getting married, le gasp!!!! It's clear it's always been important to her! And like, I was never even too invested in her relationships lol, like to the point of dissecting which song is about who, I'm just here for associating these songs with me and my OCs and also the eras vibes (well of course, I did a whole BC inspired by that😉) but Travis seems to be making her happy and it's making me emotional. And psst maybe Cornelia Archer will follow suit soon, she's soooo close now🫢 By the way, in case it seems there are more eras than episodes left, don't worry, I have everything under control. Even with Showgirl in the mix😊

I think I will need more time than usual to get the last couple of episodes ready because lately I haven't had much energy and maybe I need a little break. I also need to do these last episodes justice because... well🤭 But we'll see how it goes. I'm not confining myself to Sundays anymore, just so you know. Episode 7.2: I've Been The Archer, I've Been The Prey

I guess fate aligned the way I got the chance to use the lyrics with both Cornelia's name and surname:) perfect timing!

Cornelia has a special announcement to make...

Cornelia: Okay, so... Good news or bad news first?

Contestants: Hmm... probably bad news.

Cornelia: Someone is still going home in this episode.

Contestants: Aw...

Cornelia: But good news is - not right now. The production has recognised your concerns about the way things went this episode and decided to award you all a beach day! Just a nice, relaxing extra day for you to take your minds off things and finally get out of this house. How does this sound?

Contestants: *cheer*

Cornelia: But... tomorrow at 8 we're doing an elimination. And someone will go home. It could still be Carson, or Aella, or neither of you! So, what I was going to say... relax, but don't relax too much. You still have a chance to improve your standings before the next elimination. Now, beach day!

This is just what they need right now! And Cornelia is rocking her new swimsuit.

A little downside is that there are wild horses on this beach. Multiple wild horses. Sometimes I'd try to zoom in and a horse ass was in my way.

Carson, Laura and Aella are having some fun in the water!

Aella and Carson are both having a nice rest... which they deserve, but at the same time, they've gotta work extra hard on getting out of that bottom two!

At the same time, Carson and Kitty got to mend their friendship, as the drama in the previous episode (or more precisely, the first part of this episode) actually started from their argument.

Cornelia: What a perfect day. I guess all of us needed that to recharge. Perhaps, since there's fewer of us now, from now on I should always organise special retreats like this for my contestants?

Carson, earlier this episode you were set to go home, but due to your initiative and shedding the light on some important problems in this house, I decided to give everyone an extra day to prove themselves. But we haven't really talked that much, except for exchanging some gossip later in the day, and... The question is - do I see you romantically? Or more as a friend?

Carson's closing words: It's a mix of emotions right now. I'm a little sad to be leaving, but I'm so grateful to have earned a friend like Cornelia and to also have made friends with a few other contestants. We've become like a little family over the course of the show. This last episode was wild in a lot of ways, but I'm actually glad to have raised concerns and hopefully contributed to some change. Now I'm gonna go home and rest and regain some creative energy. I have really missed my piano!

I really enjoyed him as a contestant and from how he kept winning challenges, I genuinely thought he'd be in the final two and was lowkey hoping that his and Cornelia's shared musical nature will bring them together. But sadly, especially with the scores so close and other contestants also not trailing behind, he kind of fell off and wasn't able to pick himself back up even after some extra time was given in this episode. But he will definitely be remembered, especially by me since he spiced things up so much and made me do something unexpected in the BC!

A/N: Sooo this was my solution for this episode's mess and in retrospect I'm glad I went for it! Even though the outcome was the same and Carson went home, at least everyone got a fair chance and more time to shine, and they were finally relaxed and in high spirits after the beach day.

By the way, I have played this part on Wednesday and thought I would post it on Thursday latest, but I wasn't in a right headspace and only got to it now. But the next episode will most likely come out faster as I already played a big part of it! There will be a surprise at the end of it. Well, at least I'm excited for it. Cornelia is getting some visitors👀

Episode 7: I'll Never Walk Cornelia Street Again

I almost named it Hey Kids Spelling Is Fun

The bachelorette is in high spirits!

Cornelia: Now, this week is special, I can feel it... somehow it feels like we're going back to the roots.

Cornelia: It's ME! And we're doing another challenge! Another classic too - the painting contest! As usual - the winner gets 3 interactions with me, the runner-up gets 2 and third place gets 1! Good luck!

Kitty is painting something unique! Now will it help her in the challenge?

Now I regret letting them paint large paintings because it's evening now and they'll have very little time for the round of autonomous interactions with Cornelia:/ also there's a zombie!

Cornelia: Lilian, I'm really sorry, but you're out of the BC so it's a little too late now.

Even though it's very late now and they won't get a lot of time... yeah, kinda rough for whoever gets eliminated this time, and I feel like it's my fault because I did the challenge with the large paintings while in the past I always did medium:( it was an accident but apparently now it cost them autonomous time with Cornelia.

Also I accidentally messed up and allowed two interactions in one sitting with Sara! Oh well, now everyone who gets to talk to Cornelia gets two interactions, I guess.

Anyway, Sara and Laura are coming off strong as always!

Aella: What are they gossiping about...?

Cornelia: They're so scared of that story! Come on, it's not scary at all!

Laura: Hehe!

Aella decides she needs to take the matters into her own hands and engage with Cornelia!

I didn't get to properly capture that but Kitty and Carson engaged in a full-blown argument right behind them, and now you can see Kitty venting to Carson.

Apparently the contestants are "stir crazy" and tired of being confined to the house all the time and barely leaving it and it affects their mood...

Now Carson "pays it forward" by arguing with Laura! Apparently his face has glitched into a smile but believe me, he's aggravated after that earlier argument with Kitty.

I'm not sure if Cornelia is enjoying the drama or dissociating...

Cornelia enthused about exercise with Carson. Maybe giving him advice on exercises to do when you're stressed?

After that, Cornelia dismissed everyone to go to bed, but she managed to steal a moment with Kitty in the bathroom.

There wasn't anything interesting happening at the breakfast, but right before, Cornelia mended things with Carson by enthusing about cats, which I forgot to picture. I think they're good... are they?

(also I for the life of me can't remember if I let him have two interactions with her... probably not... which is important, I feel like this entire episode consists of my messups🥲)

Aella, we've had some good times lately and I love being around you. But the problem is... maybe the others try just a little harder. With the challenges, with random interactions round, with everything. Maybe it's all just down to some maths when the scores are rounded up.

Carson, we've had our ups and downs. But the reason you're standing here isn't because of our argument. It actually didn't affect things much. It's because you've lost your spark that, in the past, allowed you to win multiple challenges and be in excellent standings with me.

So who stays?

LE GASP Carson rolls an autonomous interaction?? Right in the middle of the elimination? This is a first in this BC, but let's hear him out...

Carson: Cornelia, I'm genuinely sorry for snapping. But I think I did speak for everyone when I said everyone was so stressed and at the edge. I could feel it. Even if I've got to leave today... could something be done about it? Just maybe?

Aella: He's right... Everyone keeps fighting and they're going crazy from having to stay in the house all day.

Cornelia: .......

Cornelia: Alright, guys, just... give me a minute, please, will you?

And she goes off. To think a little bit.

Cornelia: Maybe I got too caught up in having to do everything right, by the book... I've got to go easier on my contestants. They had a lot going on in just one day. First doing the challenge all day, then having to socialise with me late at night when they had to rest. And they've been living like this for weeks now. Of course they're losing it.

Saying goodbye to anyone at this point is a death by a thousand cuts. The problem isn't even my argument with Carson. It didn't affect much, we mended things. But... he was indeed set to be eliminated, because others really did try more than him this week. But now, because of his last ditch effort to talk to me during the elimination... No one's done this before. It's important to him. But what do I do? I can't just eliminate Aella instead, it would be unfair on her. And I can't just keep them both either, there's a set schedule and someone needs to go home in this episode. There has to be a solution...

What will Cornelia do?

A/N: Okay guys this gave me loads of headache, like I was stressed. Normally I would just eliminate whoever has the lowest score, Carson in this instance. But it just didn't feel right this time because of how chaotically this episode went because of my blunders. I gave everyone two interactions instead of one and the argument was Carson's second interaction! And during his next conversation with Cornelia I don't even think I gave him the second one! I even did a little replay as an experiment with a shorter challenge and sticking to my rule of one interaction per person, and it actually went very similarly - Kitty still won the challenge, Carson was second, the arguments still took place, but in this AU Aella came last instead of Carson.

In the end, I decided to go through with Carson's elimination. But he rolled an interaction with Cornelia in the middle of the ceremony! (originally it happened a little earlier, right after flowers to Laura, but still) I cancelled it with a heavy heart because whatever happens after the deadline of 8 am doesn't count anyway. But it was the first time someone did that and it was pretty unprecedented and left me even more torn. I talked about it in the TS3 discord and thanks to some people there replying to me I realised it could create some interesting drama if I let Carson go through with it and see what happens (besides, I also ran a poll there on whether I should go through with the elimination or let both stay and the "let both stay" option won). So I remembered what interaction he rolled and let him have it. And voila it put him ahead of Aella!

So I came up with a solution that I think is fair and honors them both and is, in my opinion, a good way to mend the chaos of the episode caused by me... You'll see it very, very soon, maybe in the coming days.

At least it made for some good television. But I'll do better next time, I promise😊 At this point in the challenge, and especially how close everyone is in the scores, I can't afford more blunders.

Episode 6: Baby, Let The Games Begin

Cornelia is looking gorgeous and is about to announce yet another fun challenge!

Cornelia: Are you ready for it? It's pool time! But of course, with a twist. Since there's the six of you now, the three random pairs will be assigned to compete in a breath contest against each other. The winners of each pair will get a chat with me!

Contestants: Yay!

Cornelia: Oh, and... don't mind these leaves. You see, autumn started but the watcher cancelled it. So it's endless summer now! I'd say cruel summer, but that's for next week. Well? Let's go!

Laura vs Laken are the first pair!

Meanwhile Cornelia enjoyed a little treat from the ice cream machine!

Prior to this everyone received an action about reacting to Kitty skinny dip but when I switched to the pool I didn't see anything (not that I was hoping to see something hahaha moving on). Idk if it was a glitch or I just missed the fun while I was with Cornelia and her ice cream.

Now, let the random chats begin!

Sara is always consistent when it comes to chatting with Cornelia! She keeps initiating chats and gossips. And I'm pretty sure she and Laura have joined Carson in the friend territory with Cornelia now!

Aella was also quite proactive this time! She and Cornelia have had a few nice conversations.

Laura is now famous for initiating "ask about day" or "how did you sleep" interactions and I think this is cute!

Carson is also in good standings with Cornelia and they have talked about art.

Laken and Kitty are both known for exchanging either gossips or late night chats about day with Cornelia! She had a few moments with them as well.

God, I'm so attached to everyone and at this stage anyone being eliminated will be pretty brutal...

Oh wowie! Lucy makes a bold move!

With Lilian and Ivalace "getting a coffee" after the challenge, I can see we're on the way to having quite a few contestant pairs... But wait, hold your horses Lucy, Aella is still in the running for Cornelia's affections!

And speaking of Aella, I often see her play video games to unwind after the day. A girl after my own heart!

Cornelia: Frankly, my decision on who to eliminate has changed a few times over the course of this episode. But then I stole a moment with some people and it was so nice and it changed again...

Look what you made me do, watcher. I have to choose between people who I already have a bond with, and I will inevitably break someone's delicate heart!

I didn't capture the breakfast this time as it was pretty chaotic and didn't really change the rankings, but...

This is our last elimination of this format. Starting next week, everyone will participate in the eliminations and maybe even get a little flowery perk!

Cornelia: Aella, Kitty and Laken, I wish I didn't have to stand here with you three. You are all incredible and bring so much joy to this house. But as per rules of this competition, someone has to go home. Don't blame me.

Cornelia: But first, we will give a shoutout to Sara for raking these leaves and removing all evidence of autumn... Hey Sara, you don't have to wear your formal dress! You're safe from the bottom three!

Sara: Oh! But yeah, sometimes I just want to show off my dress... I'm just too proper!

Cornelia: You will be able to, next episode when everyone will participate in eliminations. *sighs* I guess I'm poking fun because I want so badly to delay the inevitable. So, the first person who stays is...

Cornelia: Aella! You know, I thought a lot before this elimination, and the different outcomes of it. But our conversations and your vigor really had me sold on the fact that I wanted you to stay.

Aella: Thank you so much, Cornelia! I enjoy these little moments with you.

Cornelia: This leaves us with Kitty and Laken.

It hurts me to see you both in the bottom two, because you started out strong - in the earlier episodes, both of you were in the lead positions! Laken was even the leader in the first episode, and Kitty in the second. But eventually, other contestants stepped up their game, and right now, as we approach the final five, it's not enough to just be somewhere in the middle of the rankings. This is where the contestants really get their time to shine. You have to strive for the top.

Kitty, I was happy with you this week as you were one of the winners in the challenge and we shared some moments. You're a great presence in the house and you were so fun at the pool party. But you're still in the bottom two, and could it be that you've given up on me?

Laken, it's your first time in the bottom two, explained by the fact we haven't talked much lately. You've cemented yourself as a contestant I can always exchange a nice gossip with. But at this point, is it enough? Do I feel a connection like I do with the others?

Cornelia: ... Kitty.

Kitty: Oh phew. Oh my god, I really thought it was me.

Cornelia: You wanna know something? It could have been you going home, if we haven't chatted on that balcony late at night. And the challenge did help you as well. Sometimes, little things like this decide everything. Kitty, I like you a lot. But you've gotta make effort.

Kitty: Thank you, Cornelia. I will really try not to waste this chance.

Cornelia: Laken... You know, it was especially hard on me this week. It's the first time that there's a bit of a twist. Usually someone who's already been in the bottom three before goes home. And I was considering to send either Kitty or Aella home, until they initiated some moments with me, and my mind was changed, and I thought long and hard and realised that maybe our connection is not quite there on the level with the others...

Laken: I understand, Cornelia. I'll be fine, I promise.

Cornelia: All I ask of you is to never lose the spark that you had in this house. You deserve the world, and so many people around who will be inspired by you.

Laken: My time in the house caused me to grow a lot. To stop only focusing on work and tap into my sociable, fun side, at least a little bit. And even though I didn't win, I will carry these times with me.

Laken's closing words: Yeah, I did fall off a little bit with Cornelia compared to how I started out. But I guess I really did change a lot while in the house, because for once I don't have this urge to beat myself up for not doing things perfectly. I know I was busy with also making connections with the others and having fun, and that's what I needed the most right now! Now I'm looking forward to coming home, having some nice tea and seeing my best friend Claire again - I have so many stories to tell her!

@/kithlien thank you so so much for Laken! She was such a bright presence with a defined colour scheme and personality and I enjoyed having her so much. I was definitely hoping she will last longer and it was a shock for me, especially since at other times in this episode other people were up for elimination (which is reflected in Cornelia's dialogues) and it was one of these moments when my jaw dropped a bit when it was time to count the scores and she was last. It's always down to the smallest things, such as one little conversation or challenge victory. But the house (and I) will certainly miss her!

A/N: A bit late this week but I feel like Cornelia's outfit made up for it😉 Since Rep is so special to me I threw in more random references than usual. Next week we're going back to the roots - Cornelia was originally created inspired by the Lover era (as also seen by her name) so it's like coming home in a way!

And omg I woke up today to the new era! The Life of a Showgirl! I guess Cornelia's final episode outfits will have to be modified a bit, or maybe I will do an epilogue or some other way to reference it.

Top 5!!! Yeah, I'm at this point when no matter who gets eliminated, I will be really sad. But I'm enjoying it so much! I think the further the BC goes, the more I'm having fun with it and even wanting to do another one even though it might not be a good idea right away (the planning stage is daunting and I see how much I struggled with it in Cornelia's), but maybe someday. TS3 is like my forever game, there will be plenty of opportunities!
