Hey friends!

I haven’t been on the tumble in a while (for longer than a look-see) because busy-ness at work (recent re-promotion and being in charge of a lot of training) and vacations and stuff. You know life stuff.

I’ve also been trying to keep up with things I started last year (language learning) and get back into things I took a break from (reading - I got a new working kindle and renewed my library card, which is better for my bank account than any trip to the book store!)

There’s a kernel of truth to feeling more comfortable and confident in yourself the older you get. I feel that now that I’m 41 for sure!

It took me this long to feel comfortable with driving on the interstate (I had a deep fear due to a bad accident I was in when I was a kid) enough to go do the things I like or am interested in without that fear holding me back.

I conquered i4 to go to Orlando to see One Ok Rock on their North American tour. I was torn about going, just that little doubt about the drive and timing from vacation a week ago (the wallet always hurts after vacation). But I’m glad I did. They were truly fantastic ❤️ and I will definitely see them again if they are in the states again.

Just a little check in for you guys 🥰

I’ve got a cruise coming up later this year that I’m super excited for!!! One of the ports of call is in the Virgin Islands and will be my first time out of the country!

A lot of firsts this year, but never too late for any firsts 🎉

tonight I had the privilege of hearing a 13 year old explain the terms “cooking” and “cooked” to my 45 year old manager and she said something so excellent I have to document it.
