Hi! I'm Rafa, also known as Melloni or Mel in the art community! I'm an young artist based in Australia who mostly draws for fandoms and my own orginal stories.

I got into the online art community late 2019 and I have been a part of it ever since. During my time I have drawn for a handful of fandoms, which include:

And in those fandoms I have partcipated in multi-animator/re-animation projects and zines!

We can post now!? The two page comic I did for @turtlestogetherzine ! Its been more than a year since I started on the pages and I have learned so much since then so its so strange to look at it and start picking on it... anyway, its been incredibly nice to work with the team.

There is leftovers sales from the Zine if you are interested which you can find HERE. Holding these little items is quite something, all the artists did a beautiful work on it.

Look, I'm just mad I didn't think of overalls for my own future Donnie design; in hindsight it's so obvious.

Regardless I love this look, even if it means he looks like he's on a fishing charter for 8 out of 12 months a year. Just adds to the whole fit really.

what were some of ur biggest inspirations for Mel & Leo? Design-wise, personality-wise, etc? :D

HELL YEAH INFODUMP TIME 🗣️🗣️

With Mel one of her biggest inspirations/who I modelled her off was myself!! She was originally meant to be my persona but I wanted to make a cool story so I ended up making her an OC instead! Other characters she's quite inspired by is rottmnt's Leo with his quick-witted and charismatic personality and Gwen Stacy from Spiderverse- her morals, complex issues etc.!

Leo was originally based of the tmnt Leo but it stemmed so far from it over time! Leo is 100% inspired by Miles Morales, Steven Universe, Raph from ROTTMNT and Wade from Elemental! He has a big heart and he's quite charming! Much more of a softie compared to Mel! With his looks- tbh idk, it just came to me one day and it stuck haha
