Kinda weird how the only time your art has a woman with any other color skin that white it ends up being a white woman who hit the tanning bed. Please- at least try to draw some good black woman art. You like these figures, and frankly seven times out of ten black women have that figure, where white women need to starve themselves and get plastic surgery for it.

My art reflects my own influences and experiences. I grew up around lighter-skinned Black women in my family, and that shaped the way I see and paint figures. I’m also based in Fort Collins, Colorado, where the community isn’t very diverse, so my day-to-day exposure influences my work too.

That said, I’ve already been exploring a wider range of skin tones in my recent pieces, and I’ll keep experimenting where it feels natural to me. At the end of the day, I create stylized pin-up fantasy art—it’s about expression, not documentary realism.

I appreciate people sharing their perspectives, but I stay true to my vision and projects.
