It was fun to see how much humans just thought they were completely alone. And with all the things happening in the city, it was just weird in more ways than she could think of.

“I know you wouldn’t believe me, and I mean... who would? Honestly? But I’m... I’m not from here- I don’t look like those blacked eye slender figures in movies but... I am not... human?”

She looked very human, which was really helpful, but whenever she wished to reveal her true identity, something trumped her plans. If only she really had stayed her original skin color...

This was one of the downfalls of not being green anymore... as extremely weird as it sounded to say. She did notice her sister wasn’t blue anymore, and yet she still recognised her. Maybe it had to do with the fact Nebula thought she had died? That was even more weird...

“Nebula... it’s me, what do you mean I’m dead? I’m right here!”

Her words were laced with both confusion, frustration and fear. Fear, because she had no idea what their father Thanos must’ve done to make her believed that. That is, if she ever got to kill him like she’d vowed to do.

“Look I- I don’t know how much I’ve missed, but I’m sure I wouldn’t miss my own death if it happened? A-are you okay?”

She had to know, and now more than before she was really keen on knowing what she meant. From the feel of this, she’d really missed a lot.

nebula stared at her sister in shock. “you… you’re dead. whoever you are, this isn’t funny. if i see you impersonating my sister again, i will kill you.”

“I guess that depends on your perspective-“ she sighed, knowing she had no choice but accept she was probably right. “Size is a thing of perspective though. I mean, if we ignore that the universe is infinitely big, and it’s still getting bigger... we can say maybe it’s not too big? I don’t know... Either way, it’s just so big I couldn’t search everywhere.”

Astrophysics and cosmology was probably the most useless thing she could think about when trying to figure out how she’d find her son and her husband... but this was her being desperate now. The universe seeemed almost impossibly massive, and they really could be anywhere. Worst of all, she hadn’t been able to leave this city for more than a day without her job tying her down again, and it wasn’t a job she could just leave like that. Leia would kill her. figuratively of course.

“If only there was a way to make it smaller... I guess distances are shortened if you fly a ship, but how can I even know where to start going?”

“Well... I haven’t seen many cows on my time outside of earth... but honestly? I feel like they’d serve more as pets? I mean, compared to titans and giants, cows are minuscule!”

A cow pet didn’t sound so bad... honestly it was almost adorable to think about. But it would probably be too much of a high maintenance pet so... maybe not that.

“Or they could just want them for their farts? I mean, methane makes a neat fuel if you have literally no better options...” nah, not that either.

“I mean... I just hope they’re not eating the cows. Like... poor cows!”

Open starter | Cosette

A beautiful stream of sunrays illuminated Cosette’s face as she walked through the street, stopping at every shop, glancing at every windowsill to marvel at the beauties of the technology in these modern times. So many wonderful pieces of clothing whose colors boomed into her eyes. And it felt like it would never end, as she kept walking and walking.

At some point, a particular shop caught her eyes, the sparkling light from the jewellery seemingly raining out of the window as the sunlight hit the tiny diamonds and various jewels. It was so… beautiful.

Too beautiful, perhaps- it caught her attention in such a way she ended up bumping into a person walking on her opposite direction-

“Oh… oh my god, I’m so sorry- Are you okay? I wasn’t looking where I was going, I… god…” she fumbled with her words, avoiding eye contact and shrinking into herself as she overwhelmed herself with attempts of apologies.

Was that [ZOE SALDANA]? Oh no no, that was just [GAMORA], a [CANON CHARACTER] from [MARVEL/GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY]. They are [27] years old and [ARE] aware that they are not actually from Washington DC. Too bad they can’t stray from this city for long.

Gamora arrived in DC while she was with the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy about to come across the ruins of Asgard. She has no memories of the events of Infinity war, which includes her death and all of the Guardians’ fate. She doesn’t know what Thanos did, or that her sister was tortured and information forced out of her.

When she arrived on earth, the green hue of her skin started to fade away, which she gives little thought to. She assumes it’s just because of the earth’s atmosphere.

She’s been having a rough month completely adapting to earth, which might come across as her being crass and too direct, but it’s merely frustration.

When she got here she lost all her weapons, but she does carry some earth-produced weapons with her since she got here.

Gamora didn’t appreciate when people thought of themselves as more than they truly were. No, take that back. She absolutely loathed it. If something really pissed her off was people who were in such a high horse they just became assholes. She’d dealt with plenty of assholes in her life, including but absolutely not limited to her adoptive father, and it was getting kind of boring at this point. If was that kind of people that made her even more frustrated to realise she’d lost her dagger when she arrived here. It carried plenty of negative memories, but it had been useful, and it would be useful now, when this huge blonde man decided to place his ass in front of her table.

“Uhm, excuse me?! Sorry to interrupt, but sitting your disgusting ass in my table is pretty much ‘getting involved in human shit’! So how about you, I don’t know- stop that and leave? How about that? Before I do something I really don’t wanna do, and all the kids in here are scarred forever, and I get arrested until I rot in prison, and your pretty face can be mistaken for my damn sandwich!” She yelled up at the man, making sure the crowd around them would hear. She wasn’t afraid to call an asshole out, especially if they were literally sitting next to her food and being insufferable.

“HUMANITY’S BORING.”

One rough statement that got out of Thor’s mouth. The pretended angel pushed his glasses, that he had put on just for the style of it that was freaking clear here, up on his nose as he looked at the people around him in the dinner. Oh, he had spoken loud and he was certain he got at least one person’s attention, so he kept going. “Boohoohoo I’m lost, boohoohoo, I don’t remember anything, boohoohoo I’m alone and miserable.” He pretended to copy some unknown human now, and a laugh got out of his mouth as he shook his head. “Boohoohoo I don’t get why I appeared in that fucked place while I was tanning on Bora Bora’s playa?” Maybe.. He thought. “So I decided I won’t get involved in all of your human shit anymore. Instead I will stay here, sitting on that table..” He pointed the table he was sitting at, getting up to sit down on it. “And I will judge all of you while eating my sandwich.” Statement, and he took a big bite of his sandwich now, raising his eyebrows.

When it was rainy Helen didn’t like walking outside. Her hair didn’t do well with water, and it was just wet and cold and sad. But today it was necessary, unfortunately. She couldn’t just skip buying groceries, unless the world was literally ending. And today it wasn’t ending, so here she was, driving... to a grocery shop... like a normal person... God... what had her life turned into? Not that she hadn’t been used to a normal life, she’d lived that for a very long while until it was impossible. But now... now she just didn’t have a meaning to give to her life. She simply lived a routine life, slightly less boring since she’d found Vi. Her thoughts stopped the moment a traffic light went green, and she intended to keep driving, only to find a young guy stepping on the way... Nice... “Hey!! Can’t you see the light?! Come on!” She was in a bad mood... yeah.
