Bethany: What are you doing? Jeremy: Chloe wanted to watch her show. Bethany: You couldn’t even change your daughters diaper? Or put clothes on? Jeremy: When are you going to potty train them? Bethany: I’ve started. It’d help if while I was at work someone could also do it. Jeremy: You could always quit. Our kids are more important than your job.

It was times like this that Bethany regretted moving away from Oasis Springs. Brindleton Bay was more friendly for a young family, they said. There are more job opportunities they said. They being Jeremy.

    and three screaming toddlers. at this stage, Bethany would rather deal with criminals in lockup at work. how did her mother do it?

She constantly felt sick. Even while checking the mail.

Maybe she was just distracted, but it wasn’t a very productive day at work.
