I love it when I’m biking and I see a pedestrian and I have to just speed up real fast to exercise my mechanical advantage over them
It has the same energy as showing an ape a piece of technology, like “look at me I’m using tools everything’s easier for me than it is for you haha”
#shower thoughts#biking#and then you switch gears like twice and you feel the wind in your hair as you surpass your lessers

There’s something that fits so phenomenally about laser cutting while it’s pouring rain. It’s so peaceful. Like I’m just working in the shop while nature hails down
The blue glow of the laser compared with the swamped outdoors
The humidity being pierced by normal heat and laser heat
Just so nice
(:

The juxtaposition of silly and serious will always be a good way to brainstorm ideas.
Ex: A little cute animal with a human brain and the title of commander, a villain who’s goal is to commit genocide by unleashing a plague of, like, billions of earthworms, a cult based around the idea that one day, someone will be able to throw a rock so hard that it kills the sun. If you’re stuck in a rut, try adding a little extra humor! It’s never failed me.
New dnd character idea
An otter wearing a little blue military coat with the name “first lieutenant gigglewiggles”

Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a bacteria that got inside your bone marrow and slowly but surely replaced your bones with bacterial cells (like fossilization), except the cells were plant based and acted like wood, and so your bones would retain their structure, and if the victim never noticed then the bacteria would enter its second phase where it spreads roots throughout the body and drains all of its resources and water and nutrients
Some early warning signs include: internal splinters, easily broken bones, incessant itching, and anemia, since the marrow would be gone and your body would be incapable of replacing its own blood (also nerve damage and spinal paralysis, since the bones around the spinal cord would not be capable of supporting the neural environment there)
And it’d be super easy to cure in early stages since it’s a bacteria and you can use antibiotics but in late stages it’s basically a death sentence because if you get rid of the bacteria then you have no bones
An alternative way the bacteria could work is if it only replaced the bones and held the bone marrow hostage, inputting viral dna into every new blood cell or somehow infecting them, creating the effect that someone’s own blood vessels slowly turn into useless structures which serve a new master
The person would become a dead, living statue, a visage of the former self, entirely consisting of the host body’s eventual killer
