I kinda go mad for villains who in any other story would be the hero. Iguazu from armored core overcoming the cyborg hivemind because he’s just too attached to his humanity and emotions and relationships BUT the specific emotion and relationship here is you who he wants to open hand slap more than ANYTHING. Zorba metaphor being so incredibly loyal, enough that he can brush off a transformation that turns everyone else into a raving monster with his mind intact, but the guy he’s loyal to is the villain… if the stories were slightly different these guys would be protagonists. They have the bones for it
