Missouri State Fair set-up today and yesterday! the building on the grounds has a fantastic advertisement on one side that displays many things that MFA Inc. has to offer from Gold Star Mineral to Precision to Nutri-Track to Training Camp!

This morning I had the opportunity to go to STP Steve Twitchell Productions right here in Columbia with Chuck Lay and Mike Spidle to record some upcoming radio commercials for the Feed Division! It was very interesting to see all of the equipment that he had and go through the process of picking out music and recording voice!

I saved 3 lives! The Red Cross was at the Home Office today for a blood drive!

Yesterday was a full day! We had a Feed Sales Meeting. Most of the feed salespeople were able to attend. Many important things were discussed included: Marketing remarks by Janice Spears, an important update on PEDv and swine breeder tags by Dr. Tony Martin, and a Cattle Charge World Tour by Dr. Jim White. The day ended with Reputation Feeder Cattle Training!

On Friday I spent the day putting up Yes on Amendment 1 signs around Columbia at each MFA Oil Break Time location! It was a great experience getting to talk to the employees about Amendment 1 and putting the word out around Columbia!

QLF Summer Rally

Wednesday and Thursday I had the opportunity of attending the QLF Summer Rally at the Lake of the Ozarks! It was a great meeting and I learned a lot about QLF and everything it has to offer to its customers and MFA. I was also served some great meals and got to talk to some other employees that I had met last summer when I was the Region 2 intern. Before all of the ASMs left I distributed the Vote Yes on Amendment 1 signs to them to be distributed across the state!

Vote Yes on Amendment 1! The past few days Mike Spidle and I have began getting the Right to Farm signs placed around Columbia. MFA Incorporated is working closely with MFA Oil on this amendment an we are getting signs up at every Break Time and MFA Oil bulk plant in MO!

Yesterday I had a chance to tour the Mexico Feed Mill, Tub Plant, and Mexico facilities as well as make a delivery of ultralyx tubs to a farm with Teresa Carlson and 3 other Ag Experience Interns (Zach Morris, John Davis, and Ryan Nelson). We also checked on some tubs that were on a consumption trial!
