Final Storyboard Panels (part 1)

Panel 1 - Opening slow zoom in on Lisa sitting in her room. She's trying to draw something.
Panel 2 - cut to extreme low angle shot of Lisa as her pencil hits the paper.

Panel 3 - Cut to a blank screen. We've now been teleported into the sketchbook page. A doodle-y version of Lisa holding a large pencil walks onto the page.
Panel 4 - She looks around, then down at the pencil and realises that she can draw with it
Panel 5 - Lisa starts drawing a person, but it's not very good. The drawing is sketchy and messy and the form is barely holding its shape.

Panel 6 - the sketch falls apart into a ball of doodle lines. We see a tiny doodle cloud appear over Lisa's head as she becomes irritated.
Panel 7 - she kicks the doodle-y mess away in anger.
Panel 8 - she attempts to draw a person again.

Panel 9 - cut to front facing view of her. This time she's not even done with the sketch when it falls apart once more.
Panel 10 - Cut to a lower angle shot as we see Lisa's doodle cloud appear again, except this time much bigger. she's just noticed someone.
Panel 11 - cut to Coyote Doggirl, who is sitting across from her. She's clean lines and full of colour. And unlike Lisa she's coloured in with bright watercolours that bleed onto the page.

Panel 12 - Close up shot where we see Lisa's face as she becomes frustrated...
Panel 13 - ...and then angry.
Panel 14 - Lisa rejects Coyote Doggirl, by stretching her hand across the page, grabbing it by the corner, and ripping it out.

Panel 15 - now on the fresh page, we see Lisa walking back into frame, now visibly more determined to draw what she wants.
Panel 16 - cut to a medium shot. The camera pans as it follows Lisa until she runs into Coyote Doggirl again.
Panel 17 - Startled by this, she runs away

Stage One - Feedback From Tutors
Main Brief:
Feedback was mostly about the narratives - I was asked to merge the two narratives into one story as well as fit into a 30 second time frame.
General:
I've also gotten feedback on my general academic performance, with my professor encouraging me to better manage my time, work proactively to finish my assigned work, and to keep a dialogue going about my progress so far so that I can receive feedback more regularly.
