Kelsey Wroten and Victo Ngai’s artwork inspired me on my drawings of short illustration story.
Kelsey Wroten uses coloured pencils as her basic tool of illustration. You could see many interesting details and textures on her images. I want to do the textures on my fictional story as well.
Victo Ngai draws a lot of dreamlike and fantastic illustrations. She mixes classic oriental paintings with digital processing. This is what I want to do for my regret pharmacy fictional story. I try to make the fantasy regret pharmacy with my imaginations. Besides, I also like the colours she uses on her artwork which seems like traditional Chinese colours.

The idea of the title board is from the classic Chinese plaque.
About the ceiling design pattern, I get inspired by the back design of the garden furniture. I think the design on the back of the chair is similar to the model which I have used on the title board. Therefore, I select some of the elements of it and recombination them as m ceiling pattern.
