What beautiful writing, devastatingly sentimental. Like gazing at a photo of my best friend and I.

SHIVERS: High against the sky, above Terminal B, two silhouettes sat on a crane. The sea wind seemed to want to tear those small figures off, carry them away from the heavy breath of the harbour and endless shipping containers -- but it couldn’t even stop them from enjoying a cigarette.

Made in collaboration with @sygneth, who does real magic is responsible for bringing dockworkers to life and all the beautiful animated objects in this scene as well! And I am responsible for sketching and colouring all that is still.

It is a pleasure to make art with you. Let’s do this again sometime? :3

I cried petting my cat tonight, it had occurred to me that Blue was the closest loyalist confidante i have at the moment; a friend to love me unconditionally. No matter how much i forget to text back, or reach out, or cancel. Those who id considered best friends since elementary have now become distant acquaintances, and i’ve recently got out of a co-dependent relationship that got in the way of too many friendships.

And now that i’ve lifted that weight off my chest, it’s unveiled a perforation underneath; one that may have always been there? Maybe it grew over time through conditioning. I don’t mind the hole, nor do i fully understand it yet. It may even be a certain shape, maybe one i’ve been trying to fill with the wrong piece?

Maybe i’ve been in pursuit of the wrong type of love— not wrong, a different type of love. The love of a childhood bestfriend, your favorite stuffed animal, the warmth of familiarity, and the comfort of trust. An unconditional love and care for another, to ensure eachothers safety. Maybe a family, but more? deeper? closer?

Like i said, i don’t fully understand the hole. Can’t say exactly what shape it yearns for, the aching is muffled by romantic relationships, but not sated. I hope i find them soon, i know i will one day. But until that day comes, my heart is more than content with my boisterous lil Blue<3. The most loyal companion i could ask for, a true free spirit and a great listener. Extraordinarily affectionate as well, thank you Blue.
