Did Will Smith really slap Chris Rock?
This question has conspiracy theorists perplexed, and for obvious reasons.
Smith, reportedly, has made somewhat of a hobby out of teaching young adolescents how to fake a whack.
However, two things can be true at the same time.
To argue that Smith's demonstration of one hoax is indicative of another is a logical fallacy known as affirming the consequent.
To affirm something is to assert that it is true; to deny something is to assert that it is false.
The fallacy, which states "if A then B," can simply be disproved by the statement: "if the lamp were broken, then the room would be dark."

Why is Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer's kiss at last night's Oscars such a big deal?
It's not like it was the first public display of same sex affection ever exhibited in public.
Take, for example, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, who have unabashedly held hands, nuzzled noses, and publicly planted pecks on each other since 2013.
Most LGBT celebrity couples appear to have maintained a low profile in the media, though.
What makes this event so peculiar?

It appears as though Elton John's mother was acting with bigoted intentions, however this may not have been the case.
She must have known the legality of same sex marriages that had begun in the western world was slowly sweeping across the Atlantic in 2008.
Many times, members of the LGBTQIAA+ community self-righteously condemn every single word uttered by a cisgender heterosexual person.
In any case, the fine line that is drawn must be revisited and reexamined periodically so as to justifiably define what is and what is not considered "homophobic."

The water is a little murky...I added too much manure beneath the stratum and substrate layers but after the next water swap it’ll be heaven for the shrimp, snails, and small fish! Any recommendations for freshwater algae-eaters and bacteria-eaters? (at East Norwalk) https://www.instagram.com/p/CK4JQfyFmjV2DXaUf06WptKTud7ETYYk3p8Cek0/?igshid=s0601fd6inci

An orphan’s child
During the civil war, Queen Frederica set the “Queen’s Camps,” or “Child Cities,” a network of 53 camps around Greece where she would gather mostly orphans and children of poor families. These camps provided much needed shelter, food, and education to these children who were aged 3 years old to adolescence.

Being Gay, Conservative, & Christian
Hey y’all! Just wanted to start this blog with some background about me.
About 6 years ago, I came out to my friends and co-workers but not my family.
Mostly, I was afraid of how they would treat me at gatherings and holidays.
I come from a conservative, evangelical christian upbringing.
My dad was adopted from Greece post WWII by an american family from texas.
My mom comes from a western pennsylvania small town family with 6 brothers and 1 sister.
To me, being gay was never an option.
If you feel the same way, or can relate in anyway, this blog is for you, too!
