Being asked how I improved my writing is one of the most frequently asked questions on my blog! This post I wrote a while ago details some of my key tips and tricks. Another fact for spooky science season: Prions! They’re terrifying and fascinating. They’re currently untreatable (let alone incurable), are still infectious after years outside of a host, and are resistant to the standard sanitation techniques that we use on surgical tools, soil, meat, and so on. They’re also scientifically weird, as all previous infection models required that the particle (bacteria, virus, etc) had genes in order to create proteins and attack the host. A prion is…just one protein by itself.
Of course, I don’t mean to scaremonger––prions are extremely rare, and nowadays we’re aware of just how hard they are to destroy so whenever prions are detected the containment procedures are very thorough (and usually amount to “incinerate it to hell and back”).

They’re going up now in the google drive folder (click here) - they are all, except 6 designs, the same as last month as I wanted to publish them before the 1st but didn’t have time to make new designs before heading to VidCon Australia!! :D
