Words were getting mixed and becoming illogical, but Sakura understood what he meant.

Her hands that had become rough due to disinfectant solutions are proof that Sakura had saved the lives of many shinobis. Sasuke felt proud of this, he very much like how serious her eyes are while working. Her careful and delicate hand gestures when treating the injured, the way she gently rolls up her sleeves when concentrating on chakra. As well as writing down notes on medical records after an examination. Seeing her passion for research and using ways different from himself to expand the village, he felt very happy.

“When I’m not at home, feeling concerned if someone will take away the place that I belong. These are things I never thought about.”

Sakura responds back with a nod.

“There are times that I worryingly think, when I finally return, seeing Sarada grow taller, seeing your hairstyle change slightly.”

“I’m the same, I also think about these things. For example, when will wrinkles appear under Sasuke-kun’s eyes.”

“Are there wrinkles?”

“A little~ when you smile. It’s very cool, not bad at all.”

“You haven’t changed.” As he speaks, his hand reaches out to touch under Sakura’s eye.

“It’s ok even if you get a lot of wrinkles.”
