I am drafting things as they come in, even though I'm not active here at the moment. My plan is to possibly eventually use both my blogs but at this point, I'm still mostly on Anakin. When I do come back, I'll get everything in order, see who is still interested in our threads and all that. You can find me on @sithdestined at the moment, though!

Diana of Themyscira is born on, you guessed it, Themyscira, a planet populated exclusively by women who reproduce either with other women (no male partner exists native to the planet and so they’ve adapted) or with species native to other planets. (By the way, I’m speaking exclusively of sex and not of gender, which is...a different concept on her home planet and doesn’t work like it does on Earth!) However, should you have a child with a Themyscirian, all dominant genes will belong to the mother and thus, the child will always be female and always look and function as a Themyscirian. The women of this planet and their culture are steeped in legends and tradition. They are ruled by Matriarchs, and their society is organized the same way.
The women of Themyscira are very long lived and while they do not war among themselves, they do have a warrior role in their society, both ceremonial and practical. The warriors of this planet are famous for their prowess and skill, but also their diplomacy and compassion. While Themyscira is a deeply isolationist planet and culture, Diana left home to explore the worlds around her. She is force sensitive and would qualify for becoming a Jedi, had she or her people known what a Jedi was at her birth. While they remained neutral through most conflicts, Diana has always been her own person, and has always been known to fight the good fight, to free slaves, to help the helpless, and to generally unofficially involve herself in things that aren’t any of her business, unwilling to allow injustice to go unchecked.
Credit for this concept and almost everything relating to it goes to the writers at Bioware and their character species, known as Asari.

This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker, forever:
The first dawn of light in your universe brings pain.
The light burns you. It will always burn you. Part of you will always lie upon black glass sand beside a lake of fire while flames chew upon your flesh.

Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him. “Then I will avenge his death.” Revenge is not the Jedi way.

interphrase:
“I mean. Yes, sure, you could have, but–but you have to remember, I’m still learning. About this. About it being not… not fuzzy.”
It’s a lot of words to express his surprise, maybe, but they’re the words that feel right when Jon is right there and he suddenly wonders what his voice–like, as in his mental voice–sounds like but that seems like a weird question to ask. Is it a weird question to ask? David isn’t sure yet.
“This whole… mind reading thing. It’s not new to you. Right? Is there a reason you didn’t–didn’t get diagnosed as–as–as schizophrenic? Were people nicer to you? Or maybe you just shut up about it more and people didn’t think that you were completely off your rocker because you… were less vocal.”
He pauses. Whistles, low.
“Except you, uh. Do see more stable. I mean–besides the manic thing. You seem a little more… grounded than me. Is that normal? Is that what it’s like when the Haloperidol is finally out of your system?”
He clicks his tongue.
“Sorry that’s… a lot of questions. And talking. You don’t have to answer them all. How are you? Are you doing okay? Are you–you’re not depressed right now, are you?”
“It’s okay. Let’s uh, sit down. Here, that couch is free.” He smiles and leads David over to the collection of seating, and sits on the edge of the couch, letting his brother find his own place. He can tell his brother is anxious and will happily do whatever he can to alleviate it. “So first, no. It’s not new to me. I couldn’t always do it like, well. At first, I think -- it was a long time ago -- but I think I could sort of feel people before I could hear them.” He hums and shakes his head.
“People weren’t nicer, exactly. I was just...I didn’t do it. I mean, I did it. All the time. But I learned that people...they didn’t like it. And they certainly couldn’t do it themselves. It wasn’t something I shared with people, you know? I realized that I was different and...I don’t know. My brain told me that if I didn’t want to be drugged and locked up, I’d have to pretend to be like everyone else. If I wanted people to treat me like a person and not some...whacko, I’d have to be like them. It sucked, right? But like, less than being put in some place like Clockworks. I learned how to be more careful. Not reveal to people that I knew things I wasn’t supposed to know, that sort of thing.
“The uh, mental illness, that started later. And don’t get me wrong, they don’t. They don’t know exactly how to treat it. How to treat the bipolar without dampening everything else. My powers are...emotional. My...mania and shit, that’s emotional. It’s connected, I think. So treating me is hard. But I’ll always need them, I think. I don’t think it will ever just...go away and I’ll be normal. It’s brain chemistry, you know? But yeah, I’m okay. Not depressed, not really. I was kind of manic there for a while but now I’m just...normal me, if that’s a thing.”

It’s still weird that David is here, with him. With them. At Summerland, and not just some sort of pipe dream, some psychic imprint from his time in the womb, someone he reached out for but could never quite touch. It’s not a bad weird though and he appreciates that they have this place, to be together, after being apart for so long. When they’d first brought David back, he’d spent every moment with him that he could. Recently, he’d extended he leash, allowing his brother some space. No need to smother him. Not once he was certain he wasn’t going anywhere. Not because he needed space, not really, but because David wasn’t used to being part of twins, one of two. Jon had always been searching for his other half and David had been entirely unaware of his existence at all. Never felt unwhole.
Still, the moment David calls, he’s up and on his way. His voice, echoing in his mind, their connection crystal clear, no longer foggy or strained. He wasn’t doing anything anyway, just reading. Of course he’d come, he thinks, as he arrives to see his brother looking almost surprised. Then, he says it out loud.
“Of course. I guess I could have just answered you but,” But he still prefers face to face when David does ask for him. It seems more personal, though what is more personal than mind reading? Besides, they’re not really supposed to do that. Not talk talk. Not that it’s forbidden but they (read: Jonathan) should be communicating with words and not just his powers, so everyone is able to interact. People who can’t read minds are incredibly particular about people who can.
closed starter for @mightyheroics
David is picking at the skin around his thumb like maybe maybe maybe if he digs down far enough, he’ll be able to pull the nail out and then–do what? He doesn’t know. All at once the thought is gone and he feels foggy. Fuzzy, around the edges.
He’s dizzy. He groans, face in his hands. And he waits, putting out a mental radio signal calling–calling Jon. Jonathan. The brother that David barely knows except he also really knows him because who can know him besides his twin brother?
(maybe we can know you better we can we are l)
“No no no.”
The words are whispered until, all at once, the radio in his head, having grown steadily louder, ceases to work. Malfunctions. Goes on the fritz.
He looks up: Jon is there. Thus the radio no longer working, David guesses, seeing as it’s no longer needed. Seeing as David just–called his brother. With his mind.
He blinks. He smiles.
“Jon. You came when I called.”

a little psa that if you feel like your female muses are being neglected always throw them at me because female characters need to be protected at all costs and there shouldn’t be a reason why people are neglecting female characters in the first place because they can be just as developed and complex and well written as male characters okay thanks

Hey, please maybe give this a like if you'd be interested in any of my DC muses? Like ESPECIALLY if you're from the MCU because I have a lot of feelings about a crossover/mash up and I'd love to do something. I'll drop by your ims and fill you in on the details! (This is also good if you're not MCU. Let me love you.)

“I’M NOT SPEAKING OF YOUR POWER, ANAKIN, BUT OF YOUR HEART. THE GREATNESS IN YOU IS A GREATNESS OF SPIRIT. COURAGE AND GENEROSITY, COMPASSION AND COMMITMENT. THESE ARE YOUR VIRTUES,” OBI-WAN SAID GENTLY. “YOU HAVE DONE GREAT THINGS AND I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU.”

Want to ship? Feel free to tell me straight off!
Yes, shipping does need chemistry between the two muses, but if you look at my muse and think ‘You know what, I’d like to ship my muse with theirs!’, feel free to tell me, even before we start threads!
I love having a direction/goal to work the characters towards – when I write fiction on my own, I like having goals and plot points, like romances, family and friend relationships, rivals and enemies.. why wouldn’t I like having the same with RP? RP is just collaborative fiction writing!
There’s no shame in liking ships, or even RPing for ships. There’s tons of people in the world who love to read romance novels, and no one tries to tell them that’s wrong or worse than liking mysteries, or fantasy adventure. Neither preference is wrong, it’s just that – a preference!
So please – if you want to ship, or work towards of ship, in any capacity : romance, family, friends, rivals, and everything in between – TELL ME! I’d love to see what we can come up with together!
