The reason I haven't retired to a private island is because as of today your zip code is a more accurate predictor of your future success than you IQ. That's fucking insane to me. I don't want to live in a world where that's true. But instead of sitting around and waiting for someone else to solve the problem, I'm going to solve it myself. That's my animus - all of the amazing people that I've encountered that are held back by their mindset. They're not held back by intelligence, laziness, or anything like that. They're held back because they grew up around people with a fixed mindset and an artificially limited vision of what they're capable of. I don't want a single person to get to the age of 15 without encountering the principles of a growth mindset. That shit drives me. Find something that drives you. Build it up in your mind. Invest in it. Commit to changing it. Fan those flames in your soul long enough and you'll feel the rage to act grow within you.
