About Jack’s mental health

After yesterday’s charity stream ended and after hearing Jack’s encouraging words, I couldn’t help but feel worried about something. Jack is always thinking about us and caring for us and telling us that he believes in us which I’m super grateful for but at the same time I feel guilty because I know I can’t do the same for him. I can’t be there as a friend for him, I can’t do pretty much anything to help him in any way.

Maybe I’m seeing a problem where there is none but I just hope that Jack puts the same caring he has for us into his own mental health and doesn’t put too much psychological weight on his shoulders. He’s a good bean and I want him to take care of himself. I know that he is a fully functional adult though, so maybe this is just my grandma mode speaking haha but hopefully you get what I mean.

Jack, if by any chance you see this, please know that we care about you a lot and that the things you said about mental health are valid for you as well! Take care, coffee bean!

things i did that forced me to be a better artist:

used a reference for everything

thinner line art (you think thats thin? go thinner….)

sketch, then do a cleaner sketch, THEN start finalizing

THUMBNAILS

color research, picking a set palette or light/dark for each work

you like that pose? redo it one more time

USE A DAMN REFERENCE

do not rely on stylization as an excuse for anatomy

draw the goddamn background you coward

just draw the hand- a bad hand is better than a hidden hand

the rule of thirds WORKS

take a considerable break between sketch and lines/paint

know that art takes longer as you get better at it

draw the seams on clothes

stop aiming for accuracy and focus on fluidity and motion, accuracy will come with practice of those two concepts

just…do the chiaroscuro. just DO IT. no excuses it always works

stop making excuses, make yourself an art schedule/set weekly(or daily) art goals and just DO IT.

Let’s talk about @wiishu for a sec. This is something I really want to talk about because through a history of Celebrity Youtube fans giving their girlfriends shit mostly for just being their girlfriends, this girl deserves the best. This is a girl that truly, and honestly loves Sean with all her heart. I mean look at that love and pride in her eyes. In a world full of so many relationship issues, and struggles, these two have a bond so incredible, its what anyone should aim for. I know i do. Rock on like the bosses you are you two. You amaze us.
