Offiz (Error!Chara) Masterpost

Their name is Offiz (They/It), based off of the original name/type of virus that "youdontknowwhoiam .org"/ you are an idiot" was.

Ultimately they are not malicious (to reflect the nature of the virus irl). Their abilities are basic and can cause an inconvenience at best. They can summon windows that play the "you are an idiot" animation + audio, and those windows will bounce around the area, only limited to the “screen” that Offiz is on.

These windows qualify as attacks, and can cause damage to people who come in contact with them, albeit very little damage. At worst, Offiz can accidentally kill the Player, which can be a bit more than an inconvenience depending on when the Player last saved. You'd think accidentally killing the player would be a rare occurrence with the minimal damage it can do, however when the windows multiply, the damage definitely starts to become a problem.

That being said, trying to attack these windows or to close them will only cause them to multiply. These windows can only be properly disposed of if the Player dies and goes to their last save (or does so without dying), by Offiz themselves closing the windows, OR by Tasque Manager from Deltarune closing the windows.

The windows cannot do any damage if Mad Mew Mew is in the vicinity and will only be for show, as Mad Mew Mew’s presence implies that the game is being played on a console (even if in an AU with no fangame, this logic still applies), and “you are an idiot” does not work on consoles.

Sometimes, the windows spawn when someone attempts to attack Offiz as a defense mechanism.

They can also trap people and things in windows, minimizing the window would basically just be putting them in their pocket, while closing the window would free who/whatever was trapped inside. They rarely use this ability on people though, and only tend to use it to keep an unreasonable amount of things in their pockets.

They don't feel a particular strong way towards most other characters. They're a bit disconnected from people any normal Chara would be attached to, having come from a merciless route, but have no desire to hurt people. They don't like to be alone, so they're often traveling different AUs and occasionally causing chaos with their windows.

The only characters they feel somewhat negative towards are Sanses. This is mostly because they’re tired to seeing him everywhere, think his jokes are bad and repetitive, and judge him for waiting in judgement hall until every monster is dead before trying to stop the human in a merciless route.
