Yoshiki sighed as he entered his apartment after another day of his part-time job. Expecting his apartment to be empty, he instinctively turned the corner and tossed his bag at the couch. To his surprise, Miki happened to be sitting in the couch at that moment. "What th- Oh, it's you... Sorry about that."

Miki shoved the bag off of her onto the floor, stood up, and stuck her hand into the pocket of her sweatshirt. “Care to explain this?” Her voice was raspy as she pulled her hand out and slammed a pack of cigarettes onto the coffee table, causing the resounding smack to echo throughout the apartment. She stared up at him with watery eyes.
