When Sephiroth ends up in a strange future, he latches onto one Cloud Strife and summarily takes over his delivery business—and his life.

Sephiroth plans their delivery routes carefully, calculating their arrival times down to the minute. Unfortunately, Cloud is always taking detours and causing delays no matter what he does, but somehow, they almost always make it on time despite it all.

Their schedule today is a bit tight but Sephiroth is sure he can find a way to fit everything in.

hi small update below the cut on fics/sefikura week if anyone is here/cares lol

i am steadily working on the last fic for sefikura week. i have one scene left to write for it and hope to have it posted on Friday. it is around 6500 words so far.

part of the reason for the delay is that i was unable to finish all of the fics before the event started for various reasons, and then trying to write two of them from scratch (days 5 and 7) while also editing the other fics quickly grew overwhelming.

i kind of ran myself ragged with the event last week. 2 hours of sleep a night ragged. i’m not sharing this to garner sympathy, but rather to explain why i am taking my time with this last fic so that i could let myself breathe and recover from the first 6 fics.

thank you to everyone who has been so kind and amazing and supportive throughout this event. i WILL get this last fic up, and soon! i promise i will not leave anyone hanging. and also i will get to replying to comments once i get this posted. i appreciate them all and promise i am not intending to leave anyone hanging, i just don’t have the energy to focus on both things right now.

SefikuraWeek 2025 - Day 6 - Abduction inspired by Planning Ahead by @mikussabbath

Cloud wakes up in the past, only to find that today is the day that Sephiroth will arrive in Nibelheim. There's no time to beat him there, no time to get rid of Jenova, so he does the next best thing: he meets him in the middle.

Sefikura Week 2025 Day 6 - Abduction

On what should be a routine mission to inspect and repair the Nibel mako reactor, everything goes wrong.

When the reactor explodes, Sephiroth is not concerned for himself. He has survived worse. But not everyone knows this, and a trooper ends up making a great, albeit unnecessary, sacrifice to save Sephiroth's life.

Sephiroth will do everything in his power to ensure that the trooper—Cloud—survives. He finds it difficult to part from him, even as he begins to heal. The scars that Cloud is left with become a reminder to them both of all that they have given up, but also, all that they have gained.

Sefikura Week 2025 Day 5 - Hero

Sephiroth travels to the past, to the time when Shinra still rules the planet, so that he can carry out his plans without opposition.

He takes Cloud on as his student so that he can once more become his equal, but this time, he will stand with Sephiroth, rather than against him.

Unfortunately, Cloud is more stubborn than Sephiroth often knows how to handle, and he finds that his plans are not proceeding as they should. When Cloud forces Sephiroth to meet his mother, he finds that she is just as willful as her son, which leads to even more complications for him to deal with.

Sefikura Week 2025 Day 4 - Mother

Thousands of years after his last defeat, Sephiroth crawls his way out of the Lifestream once more. Gaia is dying, devoid of all life except for Cloud. This Cloud refuses to fight him, and instead tells him of Nibelheim and its culture before fading away.

Sephiroth travels back to the past, to before Cloud lost his fire, his fighting spirit.

He does his best to follow the Nibel traditions he was told of, wanting to give to Cloud what he had once taken from him. His attempts all end in failure, but luckily, Cloud is willing to clean up his messes, even though he isn't very happy about it.

Sefikura Week 2025 Day 3 - Home

When Cloud finds himself back in the past, the first logical thing to do is to burn down the Shinra mansion.

He doesn't have much of a plan, but he certainly hadn't counted on Sephiroth being there. He's younger and smaller than Cloud has ever seen him, but most importantly, he's a fucking brat.

Cloud realizes too late that telling him "no" will always make Sephiroth obsessed with him.

Sefikura Week 2025 Day 2 - Fire

After being defeated by Cloud for a third time, Sephiroth decides to travel to the past to enact his revenge. He ends up further back than he intended, however, and finds himself trapped in the body of a child.

Both he and Cloud are children now, but that doesn't change Sephiroth's plans. He will still mold Cloud into his puppet, will still punish him for his disobedience.

Unfortunately, Cloud is willful no matter his age, and Sephiroth finds himself living his life at Cloud's whims rather than his own.

Sefikura Week Update!

I am working steadily on my pieces for Sefikura Week this year. I am SO excited!

I have 4/7 finished now. I am still working on the fics for the mother, hero, and time prompts.

All of the fics from this year are going to have a general theme of time travel, so I'm really excited about that! It's been a lot of fun, and I hope you'll all stay tuned.

Sephiroth returns to Gaia to find that Cloud has been taken from him. The home they had built together has been destroyed, and it is not difficult to figure out who is responsible.

By the time he finds Cloud, it is already too late. Tainted by mako—the planet's blood—Cloud will die unless Sephiroth intervenes.

For Cloud to live, Gaia must perish. This, Sephiroth takes no issue with. As a god, he will share every part of himself with Cloud in order to save him.

hi hello little update!

as you may or may not have seen, i have FINALLY given this blog a bit of a cosmetic update.

i am hard at work wanting to participate in sefikura week again for 2025! i have one piece finished, another started, and three really solid ideas. still trying to wrangle the last two prompts into shape for me.

i am going to try to post one last fic before the end of the year. it would mean a lot to me if i could since this has been a slow year for me on that front.

thank you to everyone for sticking around! also, i'll put a little poll here, but i wanted to note that the smutty pieces i wrote for sefikura week last year seemed to be really well received, so i want to potentially write one or two pieces like that this year, but i'm not sure if/how i will implement it into the ideas i currently have. SO, i would like some opinions on that.
