Hey @bansidheking MERRY CALIBRATION! I chose to do “She Mourns the Lost Sky” of your two babs, though Swift Handed Soren’s little ear fins were very tempting. I _loved_ Sky’s feather mantle and skirt; I gave them some magpie-esque iridescence.  This is in graphite, sepia, silver, and white ink, and a smidge of colored pencil for some tinting on toned tan paper, since that’s what I have while I float between permanent housing and still saving up for a tablet to replace the stolen one.  I hope you like it!!  AND! If you would like the hard-copy original of this, please let me know/message me an address I can mail it to you, and I will be Happy to send it you!!  (tagging @shiftingpath too for organizational purposes)

Favorite Celestial Incarna (The Unconquered Sun)

He's always been a sympathetic character in our campaigns, locked into a clash with his own Perfection & Virtues; unable to act, unable to not act. And so hid in the Games until something changes...

I know all the official art depicts him with hair and stuff.

Our campaigns always described him as a bald man made of polished bronze, dressed in an Egyptian style kilt or a Greek style short chiton. 🤷

And favorite God: I couldn't choose between one I had made and canon Five Days Darkness, so I did both.

In our campaign, 5DD was an active partner of UCS, "we work in the darkness to serve the light" style. She/they taught Pyrrhus Arms of the Unconquered Sun style and offered to teach our party the Virtue Styles.

What have I been doing with my life? Drawing my novel character Lyssa Starborn in pretty dresses, of course. For the Six Outfits Challenge, with suggestions solicited on Twitter.  And then I made my life harder by doing a red version of each dress, because it’s Lyssa’s Signature Color.

I've been drawing Chibis because @rosiebees did a character lineup and it's a great idea so I had to too 😅

Got a lot of sketches, and two all the way finished. I'll post the full lineup when I'm done but in the meantime have a bunch of messy sketches 😄 so many more characters to do, I haven't even gotten to the boys yet! And these are just the Exalted ones!

“I put my hand over hers, and very quietly whisper, “Tag!” (paraphrased) Erie, from Rebecca Enzor’s Speak the Ocean. She is the Very Best Mermaid, a sweetheart who I adore and wish only good things for (y’know, except for Plot, because storytelling).  I did my best to reconcile all the descriptions of her into one image; a tail that can curl around herself or someone else and also has enough muscle to let her jump out of the water, tailfins like a betta that can shred with stress, and “deep sea merfolk, with dark green scales, lighter on the ventral side”. I love thinking about plausible anatomy for fantasy creatures! <3
