For Honoka, it’s fighting and the other is for Cardfight Vanguard. Based on her mindly observation, he’s pretty tactical with his deck. Improving is a necessity, whenever which type of player you are.

“Golden Ward must be fortunate to have a customer like you there. Really.” Whoever runs the card business, must be happy to have him.

Florida was a good place around America. Honoka was glad she had a nice trip without worrying her grandmother at Japan too much. Her main reason is to watch a fighting tournament happening around the country which she will explain later. But the question is, where was it happening? She doesn’t know, even.

For now she had to simply enjoy her free time until someone appeared in baseball apparel that is blue like sky. At least friendly, than meeting the typical hooligan that eyes on her looks.

“On a vacation. I just forgot to change outfits.” She was a bit skeptical on that part. Mikey had a point though, why would she wear her school uniform in a country like this? Some people thought that she was a private school student of a wealthy campus.

“I heard that there’s a fighting tournament happening around the country. I do love to see it in person!” If only Japan has one, she would not be leaving for one but can’t blame her. Her excitement is there.

CHARACTER: Michael ‘Mikey’ Stone

Fashion. One of the few things Mikey doesn’t give a crap about. After all, he’s a street brawler from the Bronx, why would he know what looks good or not

Hell, he still wears a baseball team jacket in the middle of central Florida during the summer.

But in his short time living in Florida, Mike has noticed a few fashion cues in terms of ‘Who lives here and who’s just an vacationer’. The key is that tourists usually dress like garbage, wearing cheap kitschy shirts that say things like ‘Another Day In Paradise, Fort Lauderdale’.

Yet never did Mikey thought he’d see someone wearing a full-on school uniform during the peak of summer.

As he and the school girl sat alone on the town trolley, he couldn’t help but notice.

“Let me guess. You’re here on a school trip, right?”

“Hm?” Koku said. “Why would I kill you? I don’t really have a reason to…“ Koku seemed confused. He realized that this girl was on to him…somehow. He hasn’t killed anyone recently, but he knew something was going on. Better keep my guard up, he thought.

“Ah i see. Relief for me.” She’s been dealing enough goons with murderous intent that she had to pummel them before her. A sigh of safety she did, but still she had to be very very aware like he does.

“Were you new here? The void must be welcoming new people and ditching old ones as i see.” That’s what the others said and saw.

“Well yes. Not used to it and never done fishing before.” Fighting is her focus, fishing isn’t as how she speaks to her own thoughts. Judging by the man’s experience, he’s a seasoned fisherman indeed which is why he’s used on live baits which was effective on his hobby. Until she heard him having a ‘daughter’ that means he’s a father.

“I-I see. My name is Honoka, nice to meet you.” She gave him a courtesy bow after introducing herself, as she awaits his. “You, sir?”

Middle of her daily martial arts practice, honing her copied moves from DOA is something that irks her after he called her to reach out a worm. Why would a girl holding something... disgusting?

Instead she passed him his worm container to him.

“Ew. Here’s your whole can of worms instead.” Still having that disgusted look on her face.

She do felt a killer’s intent on this guy but Honoka means no harm. If he attacks recklessly without any reason, she will defend herself and copy his movements by any chances necessary. Hoped herself not to end in a bad way.

“Well, but don’t tire yourself.” Honoka was aware about lots of jobs despite the free time Promosis has. She has concerns on hard-workers where fatigue hits them. 

“I-I know having multiple jobs is fun but can be stressful if too much.”

Mimicry and Honoka

She had used her mimicry well but not too much. Honoka still got the moves she has since DOA5 which is a relief but seeking more to fill in her ‘Honoka-Fu’. Not wearing a gi nor anything than her school uniform, she merely does her regular thing every single day.

Did her research using her smartphone, now with internet she had no problems on which move to manipulate with. Her talent is pretty unique to her own but to some it’s plagiarism. That didn’t fade her if someone says that.

“Alright, let’s see what i can do with the ones i watched on the internet.” She started with a single dragon punch. From the weakest to the strongest she can offer even if her strength was negated by the ‘gods’ put her here. Honoka doesn’t have fire to be like that one person who originated it but who cares, right? A copied move is a copy even if she can’t surpass the power from the original. Dragon punches are better aerials than sommersaults sometimes.

“One!” A weaker version with low jump tempo. “Two!” A moderate version with a medium jump tempo. “THREE!” A stronger one with a high-jump tempo.

“Hm, i should try doing all three.” She’d be thinking of something but she goes anyway. “One, two, THREE!” Weaker, moderate and strong. “Is this what those shoto-people doing this? Strange.” If only she had her red aura back, this will be a good one. Honoka Reppa? She’ll be going on a namegame if she wants to use it.

“I should try a grab perhaps? Guess that’ll do.” Back to her thinking bed, she had be browsing back on what interests her. There were no dummies but good thing she had a pillow...? Pillows are good dummies for mimicking grabs. “Sorry, pillow, you’ll be my training partner for now.” Apologizing a pillow, that’s a level of weird. Wrestling moves from Bass and Tina isn’t enough, she needs more for an alternative.

Honoka went on a search for the second time, comparing the first one she piqued and the other one. First was the one spiraling herself on air with the pillow, head first or second one is where she slams the spine. She picked the second one.

Grabbing the pillow and leaped through, Honoka spun herself and making a sitting powerbomb till landed as the pillow looked like its spine got hit. She never felt the dizziness but that’s how it goes. “Whoever invented that move must be good at wrestling other than Bass and Tina. I’ll give him a praise if i see him.” If she can.

“An aerial grab may work if someone had to jump on me. Yes, it’s a great idea!” Mumbling to herself once again, a normal aerial judo is boring. She decided to think of something cool for herself. Something reminds her of home, she remembered a certain male ninja who does that thing. Instead of using the actual, she’d just simply dive herself once she grabs a person?

There she goes on her smartphone again, searching and found in seconds. She watched the video, obviously and copied the move itself. Throwing the pillow as higher as she can, there she times the jump and grabbing it as their heads first but Honoka’s head hits since she’s not using an actual dummy. She successfully recovered on ground with a little wobble on her head.

She raised both arms like stretching meaning she can use them well. If something harms on Honoka, they will get a painful beatdown even with her strength negated. 

“I guess that’s it for today. If only someone’s willing to spar with me, that will be great.” She takes her break for now, but hopefully she can find a sparring partner.

“Well, I’ve taken on several jobs since I was brought to this dimension. However, my current employment is as a free lance repair technician, and as a sales representative at The Iron Hammer.”  Despite having two jobs, Promosis still liked to keep himself busy even on his days off. 

He was the definition of a workaholic. 

Whoa, that’s some tight schedule Promosis have indeed. From a freelancer repair technician to a sales representative? That’s respectable and well earning for a hard worker. Sad that she’s not graduated... yet on her high school and wishing to study around college and stuff.

“Working on two jobs simultaneously? You’re just like some businessmen at Japan for that!” Honoka’s impressed, despite the surprised look on her face.
