I politely disagree with the placements of Wesley and Harry…. But to each their own.
Also Rohk would be top of the fangirl pile 100%
Also also I don’t remember any of my tags or how this place works. Help me @bizships you’re my only hope
Ignoring the meta nature of this question.

Every day! Every hour.
Sometimes I even make stuff... <3
I don't wanna @ anyone because I understand how fast things seem to move in today's landscape of streaming shows dropping entire seasons in one day, and networks pumping out new series constantly to try to attract more subscribers with no intent to actually maintain those shows over time but I just saw someone self-deprecatingly lament that they are still thinking about a show that ended almost a year ago, making fan art and playlists for it, and I want to be very clear:
you can still create fanworks when it comes to old media!! PLEASE do!! there are always going to be new fans who will appreciate it, and veteran fans who are dying for new content and new perspectives. also, less than a year is NOTHING. the original Star Trek series was on TV six decades ago and there are still people losing their minds over it, writing stories and reblogging gifsets daily, and that's only one example.
a fandom lasts as long as there are people who love a thing, even if it's only a handful of people. love what you love and write and draw and make gifs and playlists about it!

I have come up with a better metaphor than “you can’t pour from an empty cup” for burnout. You can’t boil an empty kettle. Pouring from an empty cup just gets you nowhere. Trying to boil an empty kettle can ruin the kettle, the stove, and burn down your house if you keep trying it.

FOR THE LOVE OF MICHAEL J CABOOSE 💙
Pattern for RvB/Halo characters
(specifically MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor Mark VI)

Well here it is! It only took… forever… anyway now you all get to see my very unprofessional techniques and my inability to write patterns. I’ve tried to provide plenty of pictures and I hope this isn’t too confusing. Good luck!
apologies to people on mobile you’re going to be scrolling for about a week this thing is monstrous
@arirashkae converted this monster of a pattern into a nice pdf, thank you!
here’s the pdf version

YES
Corn is a type of grass.
Re: the many times I am asked “Is corn grass?” because of this RiffTrax short.
If this means nothing to you, I understand! Move on with your life and pretend this never happened, it’s best for EVERYONE.
But if you once asked, are asking now, or plan to ask in the future…
The answer, once and for all time, and put here for easy reference, is:
YES.
CORN
IS
A
GRASS
Thank you for your inquiry.
Love,
Corn IS a Type of Grass

there's quite a thread going over on the Twit.. but it's where I saw it first (https://twitter.com/KokomRoily/status/1603843494904270848)
It has just been brought to my attention (thanks, @deehellcat!) that someone by the pen name of J.D Geraghty and Plush Books has copied one of my fics and published it as an original book on Amazon. I was told it was We'll Always Have New Orleans, but I couldn't actually find that one on their list. I did find The Wolf, though. They didn't change anything, even the summary is the same (even the font on the "cover").
This person has HUNDREDS of books on Amazon. On the supernatural/vampires/werewolves section alone I saw other KC stories, even one I recognized by @willowaus (being sold on print form as well). So I highly suggest that anybody with published fics out there, be it on tumblr, wattpad, AO3, anything, check this person's profile on Amazon. A quick twitter search showed me they've been identified as stealing stuff from other fandoms as well. There are definitely some Teen Wolf and other Vampire Diaries stuff there. Some of it seems to be rather recent (The Wolf was published on Amazon this November). They've also published some of this stuff on Barnes and Noble.
I am trying to figure out how to file a plagiarism complaint on Amazon. The form is not really that intuitive, so I'm not sure how to do it exactly. If anybody has dealt with this before and has any idea on how to address it, I'm all ears. I would really love some tips on how to procede here, because I have no clue and am kind of in shock right now.
Also, would really appreciate a reblog here so that other authors out there might become aware of their stories being stolen.

The last few weeks have been HARD. We all know this. Relationships - friends and family, workplace to social media - are being questioned across the board. It's taking everything I have, some days, to remember what brought me into a lot of relationships.... In the end, I am only responsible for my own words; my own actions.
Still, it hurts to see some friends showing these new sides.
Whatever....
Beginning last night, the next few days marks the anniversary of a very difficult weekend for a lot of people, in Orlando and around the world. Among everything else going on, right now, this city is still fractured, and a lot of people need to be together with loved ones, right now.
So, please.. just take a moment, in the next few days, and give a loving thought to + the family, friends, and fans of Christina Grimmie + the staff of Plaza Live + the victims of Pulse + the family, friends, and coworkers of the Pulse victims + the staff of Pulse + the family and friends of Lane Graves + the lifeguards at Grand Floridian + the Cast and Team Members at WDW and Universal, and the First Responders, who didn't get a second to breathe, this weekend
