jazz is one of the most morally good characters in the entire franchise, across iterations he's seen as emphatic, kind, with a strong moral code and visibly gets upset at displays of cruelty and violence. In his original character bio the first line states how he wants peace over war. From his conception and across his different appearances, this is shown one way or another.

And yet people over and over again erase this characterisations in favor of presenting him as violent and chaotic, or mysterious and sneaky, usually citing his role as leader of special operations or a saboteur, to which they further interpret as an assassin or torturer, which obviously is the most furthest from jazzs original character. Its not a secret that this reinterpretation of jazz is violently antiblack and racist. This usually happens when jazz is paired with other characters, but a lot of people do not realise it is not unique to jazzprowl, I've seen this in practically every jazz ship, with soundwave or optimus, even rarepairs! its not who he is paired with thats the problem, its the misconception of jazz himself.
