minhyun took a second to process the question. in all reality, it shouldn’t have been such a surprise to hear after six months of hearing the same question from his closest friends and family. there were only so many people who knew about his injury and recovery. taking another moment, he absentmindedly rubbed his recovering knee under the table before answering. “it’s fine, lexie. i mean, it always hurts but some days are better than others. it’s hard to describe,” he took a moment to take a sip of his water before continuing. “the dull ache is more of a reminder that i need to be more careful than i’m used to. you’re allowed to ask, i know you’re concerned about it. i’m fine though. just taking everything day by day.”
