New MySims patch! Some bug fixes as you'd expect, but also adds some new features. More skin tones for both games which is really nice, but the big thing here is that now you can move sims into the garden area in the original MySims.

This is a pretty nice surprise to me. I mostly expected these to just be straight up ports so an actual gameplay improvement is really nice to see. The original game's lot amount is really limiting so adding +8 to that really frees you up to move in all your favorite characters.

I played around a bit with it in-game, and a warning for something I noticed: you can't build empty houses in the garden anymore, only move sims in. You keep any empty houses you had when you update, but you can't build any more and if you destroy one they're gone forever. I went ahead and destroyed all of mine since imo they're completely useless, but this is technically a feature that you won't be able to use anymore so I thought I'd warn you, even if I'm pretty nobody cared about it.

They were best friends since elementary school, roommates in college, each others maid of honor. They raised their kids together. The only thing that could separate them was death itself. ( Rip Lyla )

Some random head cannons for these girls:

1) Jenny, Lyla and Buzz were all friends in elementary school. At that time Buzz still had a passion for barbershop quartets.

2) Lyla danced ballet, and did writing as a hobby, inspired by her father.

3) They babysat Jenny’s brothers all the time as teenagers. They let Pascal join their group once he was in high school.

4) Jenny snuck her little brothers into Alien(1979). Traumatizing them for life. She was grounded.

5) Lyla and Buzz started dating in high school, it was all good until Buzz changed.

5.5) After Buzz decided to beat up all the nerds ( who were middle schoolers ) and Lazlo! Jenny gave Buzz a knuckle sandwich - ending their friendship.

6) They had a quick wedding during university because Tank was making a debut.

7) Lyla named Tank - Theodore - and called him Teddy …until he was older.

8) Lyla worked as a hospital receptionist until she had three boys to take care of.

9) Lyla loves all her boys, she taught Tank some dance moves whenever he wanted. She introduced Ripp to music and tutored Buck so he was smart.

10) Her ghost is stuck in Olive’s garden because no one knows she’s dead :’(

Jenny knows that’s something is wrong, a bit peeved her disappearance was overshadowed by a mystery lady.

Upload of my Sims 4 Urbz (Handheld) Sims

The announcement (which i have many more thoughts about than what i already said) had me thinking about ts4 long enough to be motivated to finally put these together and upload them so.... yay!

Most Sims have skills, likes and dislikes, and careers. They all have sensical outfits for each category as well. The quality & detail is admittedly variable, but it's there! All of them use quite a bit of custom content. I had all packs while making them (does not mean I used all packs), although I tried to keep towards other outfits being cc-free and basegame. Custom content is included because I value my time (and wrists), and I'm sure you value yours.

Hooking into TS2 Lua!

Custom script loader loads all .lua scripts from a folder on startup, can use all Lua functionality from base TS2 plus new things such as custom cheats, file reading/writing and more :)

after trying to open the ea app unsuccessfully for 15 minutes, you finally get to install the game and look forward to enjoying a fixed gaming experience
