Artsy Fartsy - Vintage Simlish Prints

me? doing more silly wall art? shocking! unprecedented! ground-breaking! anyway asdfghgfds all joking aside, it's finally done and i'm really happy to share it with you all!!

I found a bunch of free-to-use vintage prints, and thought, 'hey, i want these in my game'. So I cleaned each picture up, removed the text and replaced it with Simlish. There are framed and unframed versions for each print, and all the framed ones come with 6 different frame colours for each print (there's....a LOT of total swatches. like a lot a lot. warning you now lmao). I'm also sharing PNGs of the edited pics themselves, for you to use however you want lmao.

Anyway, I think that's all the info...sorry for such a huge post lmao. I really wanted to do more frame colours, but I quickly realised even with just the 6, the swatch count was getting ridiculous. Anyway, I actually really, really enjoyed cleaning up the images and removing the text to make way for the Simlish, even if i did belatedly realise that in-game they're so small you probably won't even notice anyway but asdfghjhgfdsa. I really hope you enjoy these!

Update: I spent some time looking through clothes in CAS earlier and I found a handful of things that I want to recolor/slightly change! I'm getting super inspired to work on this!!

I think I'm interested in participating in Simblreen this year, but I'm not sure what I'd even make (I'm not really good at making cc, I can only really do recolors and some very very basic edits to existing meshes) plus I still have my soap opera that I'm working on writing.

Maybe I can convince myself to finish my soap opera in the next couple of weeks, so that it's finished and posted before Simblreen, and hope that the extra traffic I get from anything I make for Simblreen could get more people interested in my soap opera

Also, my tumblr usage is so infrequent, I had never heard of Simblreen before and I think that's really super cool.

What are other little fun things like that? I feel like it could help me stay interested in sims for more than just a few months every year
