Lodgers shots animated
I've completed my shots for the lodgers scene. For these, I focused on creating a mysterious entrance and emphasized the overall scene aesthetics. I animated elements such as wind swirls, tumbleweed, and moving clouds to bring the moment to life. A dramatic wind effect was crucial to enhancing the atmosphere and setting the tone for the scene.

repainting the homeowner
I realized my weight paint was not working correctly so I had to rig him again and manually weight paint him more in some parts
shouldn't have made him do "a" pose for this
then i had to separate the outfit mesh that I combined with the body mesh accidentally.

scene set up for the homeowner
I kept the lodger's model in front of the house and used shadows to show her presence in front of him.
foto of storyboard
i managed to adjust the scene jus how it looks in my storyboard, but for the shadow direction and all i had to change some of her perspectives as in her standing further away from the camera behind it and a bit lifted up to fit in.

A close-up shot of the lodger walking toward the house, shown upside down, push in shot
what you see on the right side is what the camera captures

hitchcockian animation progress
i decided to finish the camera shots of lodgers scenes first as she has less screen time than the homeowner.
changes to add
: adjust the hat and make it sync with the head more accuraelty
Adjust the cape more, and I gotta add some neutral hand movements for her left hand
and for the background i wanna add wind swirls to give a cartoonish effect

Adding a few changes to the scene
this is the final scene set up color palette and the atmosphere looks like
i was inspired by the blade runner 2049 movie aesthetics
where officer K walks into the abyss
the changes
atmosphere from morning to evening, background to create a westside aesthetic
lol I asked for feedback about the changes I made from my hb
for the background of this scene, i drew inspiration from the desert-like orange aesthetics of blade runner 2049. the films use of warm, hazy tones and atmosphere depth heavily infulenced my approach to lighting and color grading. i wanted to evoke a similar sense of isolation and mystery, which supports the tone of the lodgers entrance and enhances the visual storytelling
