The First Time I Saw You Cry

It was a downtime Sunday, October 3, 2021. We were lying in bed that afternoon and we were telling stories and of course, jokes. Then I looked at you intently. And something slippled in your words that hurt me a lot, it made me cry.

I told you, while crying, that I was looking at you and I´m telling myself that ¨this is the man I´m gonna love for the rest of my life¨. I have to look at you so that when disappointments and hurts come, I pray that looking at you will remind me that I told myself that I´m gonna love you no matter what.

You cried cause you felt bad with what you said. But you crying that moment made me feel closer to you, my love. I remember holding your face with my shoulder and arms as you cry.

I love you, Elo my love.❤️

Just because I was perspiring heavily while prepping for our dinner yet you managed to check me out in the midst of your meeting to ask if I need an electric fan 😳

And today? I was so sleepy I can't even move the fan but I noticed that you did.😳

To look at this man and to tell myself in repeat: I'm gonna love this man forever ❤️❤️❤️

To not forget our 2nd and 3rd night together, ever.

2nd night: We kinda spent an hour in the shower that made our eyes so red that we looked like addicts. HAHAHAHA

3rd night: We were laughing every now and then for almost an hour and I can’t remember why. HAHAHAHA

Fun bebe times with you, my love. HAHAHAHA

This is how we spent the first few days of being married, our sunrise and sunset devotions at the rooftop.❤️❤️❤️ Truly glad for your VLs, that we experienced thisss ❤️

My favorites were:

1) Us memorizing Sciptures (Colossians 3)

2) We read Scriptures day and night, total of 2 chapters per day 😊

3) You sharing your insight about the Word and me truly learning a lot from you ❤️❤️❤️ Lakas makapogi ng gantong moments mo love, when you’re pondering on the Scripture and you’re sharing your mind to me ❤️

4) I remember an instance during our first devos when the Word spoke to me to forgive my dad for what happened on the wedding. This is how the Word speaks to us and transforms us and I’m glad I’m now practicing it with you ❤️❤️❤️

P.S. We weren’t able to had our first dinner or brunch as husband and wife (like most do. HAHA) because we were at your home with mommy the day after our wedding. We had our free lunch there, thanks to our wedding caterer. HAHAHA

I remember how close you can be to another woman but for you, it’s nothing. And this is how mindful the Lord is of me: He reminded me the story of David and the Pharoah’s wife and how David did not fell to that temptation. If David didn’t fall for it, I too am trusting the Lord that He will give you the grace to do the same.❤️

So this was the time when we realize that we’re not having kamustahan lately. When I was just asking few random questions until you opened up the topic (with my permission) about an instance when you’d like to talk over something with me yet I feel attacked. Thus, the processing.

I believe you were sensitive that night. You were very gentle too with the topic as I opened up about my mommy issues. What I loved about this night was how you truly helped me process this emotion and help me improve some mindsets: It’s okay to be blamed, then you went reminded me of what Jesus did for me thus what made it truly okay 😳

You added pa: Being grateful that you have a family. I realized I was never grateful for my family. Thus, thank you for this, mi love. ❤️

You’ve truly helped me tonight, mi love. I felt so much lighter. I felt freed from mindsets and emotions I didn’t realize i was harboring and enslaving me.

Thus the post. Haha. The not so-me post. HAHA. But I really wanted to tell the world how a blessing you are to me. Praise God!🙌❤️❤️❤️

Meeting the first disciplers | August 2021

One of my favorites in our wedding preps is this, mi love. I get to meet (even online) your first discipler, and you get to meet mine too.

My favorites from sir Raul’s:

~ Being gentle & sensitive. Haha. Ito talaga una? Let me explain kahit di naman needed. HAHA. Of all the couples we asked kasi, by far, none of them advised about sex. HAHA. Thus, I’m truly glad he did. Hehe

~ Marriage is a blessing ❤️❤️❤️

~ I love how he reminded us that marriage and even kids are not the ones who’ll complete us. We are already complete in Christ. ❤️❤️❤️ Gusto ko yung ang basic but it truly strucked me ❤️

~ They’ll include me in their everyday prayers ❤️❤️❤️

My favorites from Calpatura’s:

~ limit the people you asked for advices as in the end, it maybe harder to decide.

~ How different one relationship is front the other ❤️❤️❤️ Never compare.

~ Living with our parents for quite a long time. It may stress the couple.

~ How we argue.
