Hello, my name is Areej Kassab. I’m a 27-year-old English teacher and writer from Gaza, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea for support. My family and I are enduring unimaginable hardships as relentless bombings devastate our home and our dreams.

We are a family of 15—10 adults and 5 children. Every day is a battle for survival. Food is scarce, humanitarian aid is not reaching us, and my little nieces and nephews go to bed hungry. Among them is my sister, who is deaf, and another sister who has a newborn baby. They, too, are suffering in this crisis, and I’m doing everything I can to protect and provide for them.

💔 A Life in Ruins The war has robbed us of everything: safety, peace, and even the hope of a future here. My family’s needs are basic yet critical—food, clean water, diapers for the babies, gas for cooking, and other essentials to make it through each day.

Hanadoll spoilers!!

I'm still a pretty new Hanadoll fan so I've been trying to learn everything that I can about it through the drama cds, MVs, etc, and one detail I noticed on Kaoru's wiki page is that he apparently hasn't been drawing as of 2022. I checked the Anthos* twitter account and it's true, he hasn't posted any art since early 2022. So, naturally, this info consumed my thoughts for several days. And then I remembered that the 4th season's title is "Human or Doll" and this, combined with all the stuff that's been happening to Kaoru in the drama cds, led me to the idea that Kaoru isn't drawing anymore because he's more doll than human right now. He can't create art when he's losing his humanity to amapro and becoming a puppet...I hope that made sense, I have too many thoughts. But after that realization hit me, I rushed to start and finish this drawing before my classes started up again😭😭 This series is simultaneously my favourite thing ever rn and also the bane of my existence because everything I do reminds me of Hanadoll and idk how I'm gonna survive my final semester of university without shoehorning Hanadoll into one of my assignments somehow.
