It seems like it has been forever since she last laid eyes on him. His marble-like beauty never fails to astound her. A tall and elegant figure with quiet eyes... but they were not so quiet right now. She could even feel like she was reading his mind. Her fingers briefly leaned over the counter and then tugged across at his fingertips. She leans into the hand on her cheek.

"I could... hazard a guess."

He reached over, a hand resting on her cheek as his smile only grew even more. "I hope I do... And if you only knew the effects you had on me."

"Messed up how Ino is not kissing me."

A little smile curls over her lips at the needy whine. She tosses fair strands across her shoulders and glances at the clock on the wall.

"I don't have long left to my shift..." Ino adds coquettishly. "Would you rather it be quick or slow?"

Izuna hummed and nodded his head. “You are a true florist through and through… And a beautiful one at that too~”

Beautiful. She has not often heard those words from an Uchiha in relation to herself. She’s pausing just a moment to reflect before breaking into a bright smile, deeply flattered.

“Ahaha- thank you! It’s nice to hear this from Izuna-Kun!”

“... I couldn’t pick one. I’m a florist- but if I had to, I think a rose is what you would call, the queen of flowers, right? It’s royalty.”

Ino loved those beautiful, romantic flowers. She also liked how much money they made from them, too.

“Ara... a second date? Aren’t we moving along too fast? I don’t even know which village you’re from.”

Ino blinks and then is quite flustered by the compliment. A smart woman? Shikamaru and Sakura were the genius types. But... she was intelligent in her ways, of course. The top ranked kunoichi of her generation.

“Y-yeah... my dad taught me. We own a flower shop. I’m Yamanaka Ino, it’s nice to meet you.”

“I would like some compliments. Let’s compliment one another - shall I start? Okay then- - did you know that flowers don’t compete with each other? They already know they are beautiful in their own ways and still bloom, never worrying about their colours and their shapes and their fragrances... their beauty is in their variety. And so is yours.”

Day 10 "Blank Period"

He gave a small chuckle. “Please, just Xaos is fine. We’re going on a date, first names are more appropriate, don’t you think?” A small chuckle soon exited his lips. “No, no if anything I’ve been told I’m too strict when it comes to morals. The worst I’ve done is steal some food when I was younger, nothing too bad.” Although he could get somewhat violent when it came to protecting the innocent, he knew murder was a line he’d never cross. He stepped closer, taking her hand in his. “I… It is not often I have an opportunity like this. Tell me, where would you like us to go?”

Xaos... Ino tried to sound it in her head before she attempted to pronounce it. She managed to say it properly, but still maintained the -San due to politeness. She found her cheeks turning a pleasant pink when he took her hand in his. That had been a bold move. He doesn't really know her that well. But that was the point of dating, wasn't it?

She flashes him a winning smile. "Ah.... but you have also committed another crime."

Ino paused dramatically and place a hand on her chest. "You have stolen something even more than food. You have stolen... my heart."

It was cheesy and done so often, that she knew all the pauses, but she couldn't help it.

“But maybe I have also committed a crime, Xaos-San.”

“Because it is a sin to look this good, after all.”

“Would that be so bad…? I mean, I may not be the biggest catch out there, but I find you gorgeous. And so kind to me.. So… Yes. Would you do me the honor of a date? You could even tell your flowers about it.” As he spoke his face began to heat up. It wasn’t often he made the first move like that. Normally he would remain oblivious to any flirtation until people gave up. But he was far too drawn to her to not just go for it.

Ino was actually surprised once she got over her bashfulness. After all, a handsome boy asking her out wasn’t an every day type of thing. She blinked and shook her head.

“Ah, but Nightheart-San... you should be more confident. A handsome man like you is a wonderful catch...! Unless, you’re a murderer or a pyschopath... you’re not, are you?” The florist actually had to make sure now. It had been a while since she had consulted the Bingo Book. “Uhh... you’re not an S-Ranked criminal or anything, are you?”

Because that would be a real shame.

“But... I would love to go out on a date with you. I think my flowers always love it when I am happy. That’s why they exist.”
